Yes and it was obviously edited, you can see the cut from angle to the next.

Nobody there had an agenda though, so I can completely trust the "evidence" and uh... yeah I call BS. And the detective was right. Never telling when a crowd will turn...

Is there really a gray area here? I mean I can't imagine any interpretation that the detective acted improperly. I mean, I guess I just don't see how someone could disagree w/his actions.

I side with the cops too, those nerds calling the cops pigs would be the same ones calling 911 after getting their iphone snatched on the metro. That chick with the drum was very annoying she should have been arrested and stripped searched.

For those who believe the detective was wrong for his actions, put yourself in his situation and state what you would've done.

You're facing a disorderly group that is throwing snowballs at cars passing, they are taunting you when you get out of the car, and you're the only officer at the scene...what do you do?

Two wrongs don't make a right, Those people shouldn't be throwing snowballs at cars and detective didn't have to bring out the gun.. The other cops on the scene didn't feel the need to pull out their guns why did he??

actually one cop in uniform has him weapon in hand if you watch the video. He walks up beside Baylor(the detective) trying to get people back.

So Baylor wasn't the only officer who pulled his gun.

It's been discussed he was on an armed person call which was about the detective.

Bottom line is that the cop was invoked to draw his service weapon. An officer's job is almost all officer discretion. If he can articulate his actions, which I believe he can, he's fine.

I can't tell you how many traffic stops I made where I took my firearm out, held it down to my side when I approached the driver side of the car. So what?

Jackasses throwing innocent little snowballs also can throw bottles. With all the jackasses I saw in the video...........
