Was at Dave & Busters on Saturday night and they just use card readers now to activate the games instead of quarters. Well, I was walking around swiping my newly charged card and wondering why none of the games would work then I realized I was swiping my Pitt ID card instead of my D&B power card. I'd had them both in my right front pants pocket and really there was no reason for me to have my Pitt ID card with me, but I always just stick in in my pocket in the morning out of habit.

Re: Your brain fart(s) of the day
This morning I accidentally put my hooded jacket on backwards (in front of me instead of behind me). Wouldn't have been so bad if I didn't subsequently pull the hood up right in front of my face.

Re: Your brain fart(s) of the day
Went Into the shower this morning with my socks on. It felt like something was off but I just couldn't quite figure it out. Finally after about 5 minutes I look down at my feet and notice the problem. Just another fantastic start to a Monday.

Re: Your brain fart(s) of the day
I was at KFC ordering and completely forgot the words "macaroni & cheese" it's like my brain erased it from my vocabulary...
After sitting there for like a minute and a half I ended up saying "um....yellow noodles?"
The girl at the window had a good laugh at that one....I don't know WTF happened there...Comment

Re: Your brain fart(s) of the day
For the last few weeks, I've been having to leave for class right around the time the sun comes up and it was still dark in my room when I wake up. This morning, I woke up at my normal time and freaked out because it was nice and sunny out and I thought I was extremely late. Doh.

Re: Your brain fart(s) of the day
Happened awhile ago, but since this thread wasn't bumped up then.....
I was waiting at a traffic light to cross. I prob stood there for 10-15 seconds before realizing I could've crossed the whole time. Thankfully, there weren't any cars around to see me just randomly standing at a light and not crossing.Comment

Re: Your brain fart(s) of the day
That happened to me recently with a hybrid rental car in SF at my hotel. The valet had brought the car around and left it running and the damn thing was so quiet that I just sat there for a minute asking myself "is this thing on?" Finally I just shifted to drive and was like whatever happens happens.Comment

I spent 5 minutes this morning trying to put eye drops in my eye before I realized that I had not taken the top off. Even shook it really hard to get it unclogged................In Loving memory of my "Cricket" 1/2/96 - 11/19/2012

Re: Your brain fart(s) of the day
Went to West Lafayette for the weekend with my wife, a friend, and his wife for the Iowa/Purdue football game. The time zone went from central to eastern and we went out pretty hard Friday night. Woke up at 9am and got ready quickly to tailgate. Kickoff was 11am central time but we didn't take the time zone into account so we arrived at the stadium at 10:45 to discover the game started at 12 eastern. We lost at least an hour of tailgating and once you are in the stadium you can't leave. We all thought we were going to be late for the game too.Last edited by Herky; 11-10-2013, 12:07 PM.GT: Herkyalert

Re: Your brain fart(s) of the day
Had dinner at my mother-in-law's house last week. After dinner I went to throw my napkin in the garbage and ended up throwing away the plate and putting the napkin in the sink. Haha. She had a good laugh.Comment

Re: Your brain fart(s) of the day
Woke up this morning, got ready for work and went downstairs to get some breakfast at about 6AM.
I measure out my cereal, milk and juice before sitting down. I'm not even looking at my breakfast when I take a mouthful and nearly spit it out immediately. Don't you know my cornflakes have orange juice all over them and I've got a cup of milk to the right of me.
I didn't want to waste it, so I battled through it. That should teach me.Comment
