For you CoQ10 and multi vitamins and stay away from the energy drinks. Just run and do crunches and maybe a few arm excercises. If you want to run further make a test each day that gradually increases in difficulty. Soon enough you will be running a mile in a shorter amount of time...While increasing endurance. If you arent that out of shape it wont be hard.

Re: Tips for working out??
During first year of college I was around 220 lbs (5'10") and was sick of being the chunky kid, so I pretty much ran almost every day for the whole school year and cut out all snacks for about 3 months. A year later I was down 60 pounds. Been about 4-5 years since then, back up to about 185 lbs. So definitely not bad, I've got some flab I want to get rid of, kind of made it my new years resolution to do so. I feel like I know quite a bit about cutting fat, but it's pretty much general knowledge now. From my experience:
1. First and most importantly, diet. Eat something for breakfast, oatmeal and/or a piece of fruit, anything to get your body working from the get-go. Also best not to eat anything else after your supper, if you do want to snack then eat some vegetables, but basically try not to add any unnecessary calories at night because they're just gonna sit there overnight.
2. Obviously exercising is key, even though you can lose weight just by altering your diet. I chose to run, since my dad is an avid runner, it was easy to stay motivated. Weight training is great, I've never been able to get myself into a very steady routine so I don't have the best advice for that, but it's just more calories that you're burning by adding muscle.
3. Drink either water or 100% fruit juices. There are so many alternatives to sugary pop, even Coke Zero. There's Crystal Light which you mix with water and it contains next to nothing except for flavouring.
4. Like another poster said, just everyday things that you wouldn't normally think of like walking somewhere that you would normally drive to, stairs rather than elevators, small stuff like that. It may not burn a whole lot of calories but it gets your mind in the right place, and that's the make or break of getting healthy and active.Comment

Re: Tips for working out??
I'm so old. The front of my shins occosionaly start to hurt when running. It's not the bone. Sit with your feet flat and put your hand on the front of your shin, angle your foot up and the muscle you feel move is what starts to hurt. If it starts to hurt I am hardly able to even move my foot in any direction.
I think this might be my problem -
Anterior Compartment Syndrome (ACS)
When walking, the muscles in the front of the leg help slow the forefoot after the heel strikes the ground. If these muscles are weak, the foot slaps the ground with too much force because the forefoot is not slowly lowered. When a person is running or jogging, these muscles have to work harder to prevent the forefoot from hitting the ground with excessive speed and force. These muscles can become overworked, leading to pain.
This pain, which occurs in the front of the leg, may be incorrectly referred to as shin-splints. It occurs when the muscles in the front of the leg are overtaxed. It is common in people who run on hills or uneven surfaces. The swelling and pain of anterior compartment syndrome is treated with ice, stretching, and proper footwear.

Try speed-walking around a track as fast as you can... you will have a new level of respect for those old ladies that used to power-walk at the mall all day.Texas. Football. All. Day.Comment

Re: Tips for working out??
I do this push-up, supported dip routine a few times a day.
What I do is do 7 push ups then 7 dips off a chair ( so not free-hanging) then I'll do 6 push ups and 6 dips, down to 5, 4 ,3 ect
you can start with 5 and work up to skys the limit. If you do that and can get some pullups and crunches mixed in you don't even need to go the weight lifting route.Comment

I hate jacked so much. I gave that stuff away and went and bought Nano vapor and War.

How much experience do you have from supplements? I have like 4 months...Tried Super250, Buzzerk (Horrible), Jack3d, Lipo6 (Dont mix that with any other energy supplement
Again I dont have a lot of experience, but how has that stuff been treating ya? Im open to try new products out as long as it's not HGH.
Keep up the hard work bro.Comment

Re: Tips for working out??
Also I been starting to get thicker hair. My hair was starting to get thin after each year. But my hair is thicker it's been since I was 18...Does a strong multi-vitamin or green tea extract help hair grow? My hair is shining and it's just in better shape. Personally I recommend it if you are losing hair...Because my hair has a lot more volume. Im not sure whether it's cuz Im working out or the food and vitamins I am taking.Comment
