I wouldn't be so quick to call that. That is nothing but a pat and comforting thought. There are probably more than a few that have as deeply seated feelings of hate. I agree with the fact that he was a loser, but it does cause me to pause when more and more you read or see guys (or women) who are just losing it. The big question is, will things stay where it's individuals who have personal breakdowns that end up with them killing their family, or will we see stuff like this begin to become a viable option in crackpots minds, trying to make "statements?" I'm hoping with you, but am wondering...

davep - that's retirement benefits, insurance, holiday pay, everything benefit wise for retirement. it was in a report highlighting the disparity between social security for private sector workers vs. retirement benefits for government workers.

brianfifafan - I agree, it's easy to just label these people and a lot of folks aren't comfortable with trying to hear their manifesto or whatever, but honestly i think it's important to hear what they are saying after they die, not to martyr them or elevate them or even agree with them but simply to try to understand how to compile knowledge for possible dissuasion of future likewise attacks. dismissing them may not be "giving them the satisfaction" but they are already dead, there is none there to be had for them.
