Not even! If it was a season of 24, we'd still need the events that took place between 9:00 PM and 4:00 AM.

Yeah, it was almost too much, everything seems boring today now.

And congrats on the 11 year anniversary!

This was unleashed on the community today. It's up there with Pacquiao planking for Thread of the Year
I think Evan's problem with that thread was that he "comes clean" with a little short paragraph then writes a novel asking for more advice. After all his lies and twisted stories that's a pretty bold thing to do.

I hope he doesn't take everyones ribbing too seriously though. I kind of feel bad for him now, at the end of the day it's not that deep. Whether he decides to ever post here again or not is on him, but I think overtime he'll be fine doing so as long as he's not asking for advice.

Either way, I thank him for the entertainment. I hadn't laughed that hard in awhile.

Same here. I really couldn't care less that he lied to us. I mean, I guess it's better if he were an honest person, but I'll trade all of those lies for the hilariousness of yesterday anytime. That was just totally worth it.

I hope he stays around. I won't tie his name to his stories. I just read posts, and he's a contributor to the website. I just popped my head into the thread because it's incredibly funny. I don't think any less of the guy.

Makes me hope all of my stories so far have been true, and by my accounts they have (meeting Eric Byrnes in the hitting cage and taking me out to Mexican food, my friend crashing his car into his mom's on the main street, the dorm bathroom flooding incident), but I'm sure we fabricate things either to make ourselves feel better or to hide specific elements that we'd rather not say.

In a strange way, I'm just glad that some of it was the truth. I only say "strange" because I'd prefer someone was alive and not dead, but faking a death for a story would be pretty sour too.

Yep, time to move on from it. Thread will be fun to look back at, but I won't give it any more thought when I see Evan post elsewhere.

I unfortunately confirmed that Tori's father did indeed pass away so her family remains in my thoughts.

Right, that's what I mean. It's so unfortunate some of the truth involved an actual death, and that absolutely trumps faking a death.

Well, now that football season (and Madden) is just around the corner, it is time for our yearly review of this gem:

                                http://www.operationsports.com/forum...e-ratings.html

That thread is like a fine wine. It just keeps getting better with age.
