Well it's been about a year and a half since I last cut my hair. I don't think I've gone in for a haircut since maybe 97-98, I can't even begin to count the money I've saved by cutting my own hair. I definitely had it down to a science. I'm sure I gave myself my fair share of botched haircuts in the beginning but like all things practice makes perfect.

Every two weeks, keep it cut low on the top with a slight fad on the sides and he trims the beard. I can line myself in between the time but I've never learned how to actually cut my hair. $15 + $5 tip, been going to the same guy for about 10 yrs now.

Every two weeks for the most part. Three when I really don't give a damn. I have a razor that I use to give myself an edge up on my razor line. Do my goatee and chin straps also. I gots to stay fresh.

Every 2-3 weeks, it really depends...

Sometimes I'll get a shape up, then 2 weeks later I'll get a full hair cut..

In the winter, I might even go a whole month without a hair cut..

oh and I had 1 barber in the last 15 or so years, I'm very picky when it comes to my hair, so I don't think I would ever cut my own head lol

I need one now actually. I usually go every 1-2 months and it is usually pretty bad at that point. Right now Im thinking of getting a buzz cut type hair cut. With the way my hair is now you can really see my receding hairline to well. I wish I could do something about that.

It was about every two weeks and that was for a long time. It then moved on to three weeks and right now I'm going about once a month.

I couldn't get a last minute appoinment about 10 years ago, took the risk of trimming it up myself and have never looked back...

Can't imagine how much time / money / aggravation I've saved...

And since I've only really botched it once so far, (knock wood), I have a better 'batting average' than any haircutter I've used in the past...

I cut my own hair, sometimes buzzed sometimes let it grow a bit longer on top. Got one hair cut in the past 5 years or so and immediately buzzed it off myself it looked horrible

Every two weeks. Sometimes I go 3 weeks or even a month without going the barbershop. I've gotten pretty good with the clippers and shaping myself.

Man you get the hang of shaping yourself up after a while. One of the best investments a man can do is learn to cut his own hair.

Agreed. I actually haven't been to a barber shop in about 6 years. I cut my own and my sons' hair twice a month, while maintaining the line in between. Has saved a LOT of money over the years.

When I go home to Alabama I let my cousin hook me up. Dude gives the sickest lineups. Nasty with a straight edge, I still gotta get used to doing that myself.

Shave my head every other Friday, #1 guard. Haven't paid for a hair cut in over a decade.

Used to shave it all with a beard/mustache trimmer w/o the guard, also used the Headblade in the past. The current gf put an end to that nonsense though.
