I used to keep them all, but I recently took advantage of the promotion gamestop had going on. I am now sitting pretty with about $80 in credit. I was initially around $120 but it was around the time Mass Effect 2 came out and it paid for that.

Only trade in my sports games which I rarely buy now cause I just don't find myself interested in them as much as I used to be (except mlb show). Keep all of my non-sports games. My Teams

Nothing makes the ladies panties drop faster than a 25 year old collection of video games that you don't play anymore.

Re: Do you trade-in your games or keep them?
I have kept all of my games through the years but it's getting to a point where I'm beginning to second guess that. When it comes down to it, I'm not going to have room to have old video games sitting around not being used. In the mindset of a hoarder, I'd always think, "But what if I want to play this game again one day?" Thankfully, XBox Arcade and other means has helped a ton in that regard.
It's kind of similar to my VHS collection of great Detroit sports events and NBA All-Star Weekends I have from the past 20 years. With the emergence of the internet and YouTube, I'm not as crazy about being sure to record all these things, because I know they're going to exist somewhere else that will remain accessible to me.Comment

Re: Do you trade-in your games or keep them?
Sports games are pretty much the only games I'll buy and I tend to trade those in if I know I'm getting next year's title, or if I just don't like the game. I will usually just go to GS (convenient) when they have a good deal going on.
I'm probably hitting them up tomorrow to take advantage of the 30% extra trade-in credit.
Games like College Hoops 2K8, NFL Head Coach 09 and some non-sports games like the Metal Gear Solid series, I'll keep b/c I can't bring myself to trade them in.Currently Playing:
MLB The Show 25 (PS5)Comment

Re: Do you trade-in your games or keep them?
I just keep them. I'm mostly a sports gamer, so by the time I'm done with a title, the trade-in value just isn't worth it. I'd rather have it sitting in my dvd/game case for nostalgic value. As for the few non-sports games, I usually play them alot until I beat them, and keep them. Then I pop them in after a period of time and it's like new to me again.Comment

Yeah, that was it. Plus, I signed up for an Edge card and that got me even more trade-in value.Comment

Re: Do you trade-in your games or keep them?
I only trade when I'm like totally out of money. I like to try to keep games as long as I can, but eventually some of them end up at Mega Media Xchange.
If I can afford to buy a game without having to trade anything then I'll just buy it. And that's the way it goes most of the time. But occasionally there'll be a mass exodus of games because I can't afford something that just came out. Like how I just traded in half my PS3 games (8 of them) to get the money for the new World Cup game.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn
