I update mine only once every few days. I dont like it when people tell you goodnight on their status or they tell you every time they eat. lol

How often do you update your facebook status?
Man, I see some people that update their status like 6 times a day and its kind of annoying. Its especially annoying when you text/call those same people and they act like they cant answer or they are 'busy' but you always see them logged into facebook and updating their status.
I update mine only once every few days. I dont like it when people tell you goodnight on their status or they tell you every time they eat. lol

I think people spending much time on facebook is stupid...because what can you really do on there besides have your nose in what everyone ELSE is doing (hint: they are on facebook like you).....but honestly, I just don't care, they can do what they want........I'm scared to see what society looks like in 15 years though

I looked back, and I've posted 8 statuses since the beginning of the month. Most of them are funny observations or funny quotes or a good song lyric. I'm not one of those people that posts "gym, work, sleep lol." No one really cares that much about my life. But if I have something in my head that I think people would find humorous or interesting, I'll post it.
For instance, I went to a Mexican restaurant on July 4 for $1 tacos without realizing that I was eating foreign cuisine on the day of American independence until the waitress said something. My reply to her was that nothing is more American than $1 tacos. A few times a year. I'm on facebook often, I just don't feel the need to tell people what I'm doing. This is probably because I don't care about other people's statuses so I don't know why they'd care about mine.WUSTLComment

For as much as I'm perusing Facebook, I really only update the ol' status once every two weeks or so. If I could think of something creative and funny to write, I'd update my status a lot more frequently. Alas, I am neither funny nor creative.Comment

Really depends on how interesting my day is. During the week I might go days without posting. During the weekend I get up to maybe 3 updates in a day, some just mobile picture uploads.
I really don't understand why people get worked up over other people's statuses, no matter how useless and/or frequent they are, or however else they manage their facebook.

I agree. I love the "Hide" feature for this reason. If someone updates their status too much for my liking, they get the "Hide" button, and I don't have to see anything that they've done ever again. I "hide" people I don't give a damn about, people who say stupid things, people who update statuses too much, etc. It really cleans up my feed and makes Facebook more enjoyable because the news I'm seeing is concerning people that I like/care about.Originally posted by DaImmaculateONeHow many brothers does Sub-zero running around in his clothing?
