Re: E-Cigs..anyone tried one?
I have a question.... As a college student on a pretty limited income, I would like to know more about the finances of it. Since I am 21, the health issue is in the background, however I have been noticing the smokers cough coming up a bit. I have ranged between half a pack a day to usually 3/4 a pack for 4 years now. In Florida, cheap cigarettes that I smoke are about 4$ a pack (Pall Mall Menthol 100s) and if I get cigs I like (Newport 100s) then they are like 5 or 6$. So could anybody tell me how much of a difference it would make on my wallet if I got a model similar to what you guys have had? Thank you.
Also I would like to hear if anyone has impressions on mentholized smoking on an e cig and smoking when drunk. Because to be honest, I have never had anything that hit that spot just right like a real cigarette after a night of drinking. Thanks again guys.Comment

Honestly, if you just want to do it to save money, then it's not going to work for you. Over time you will save money, but the startup costs and the costs of learning can be steep. But this is really something more for someone who is fed up with smoking, but is finding it hard to quit.

They market them as a nicotine replacement, not as a quitting aid, but IMO it's a great quitting aid. It's easier to ween yourself off the e-cig, and that's cleaner, not smelly, etc.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Yeah, I got a free NJOY USB one and that helped me quit last time...I was good for 6ish months before I was dumb and had a cig with a friend. I need to pick up some carts for that so I can use it to quit again...

I don't think most places even market them as a nicotine replacement anymore either. It's all about the FDA and avoiding their regulatory commission. Still, those of us that use them know the real truth.
Edit: Also, watch this video: http://www.vapetv.com/truelove/?video=41 It's some guy introducing people off the street to these. Not safe for work, btw...language. Typical New YorkersSteam: BahnzoComment

Ugggh. Don't buy those prefilled carts...buy some quality juice and fill them yourself, much better taste and vapor.

Everything I've gotten from them is quality juice. Good flavor and they are a good, friendly company to deal with.Steam: BahnzoComment

Right now I am kind of leaning toward a 510.... Is there a reason you choose the Riva, I read the 6 part intro piece on vaping and am looking around the forums but Im not really finding much about the Riva.Comment

Re: E-Cigs..anyone tried one?
Basically, the advantage of the Riva is a longer life battery. The 510's batter is like a 320mAh battery, while the Riva is 750mAh. It lasts most people all day, while the regular 510 will need charging a couple times.Steam: BahnzoComment

Re: E-Cigs..anyone tried one?
My stepfather's company helped design the packaging for the Bloog electronic cigarette, so he's brought home a few "samples." I didn't do any tobacco products at the time (just got into Snus though), so I've only had the flavored ones without nicotine. They're interesting. I like the idea.Originally posted by DaImmaculateONeHow many brothers does Sub-zero running around in his clothing? No one can seem to kill the right one.Comment

Hey, I smoke a pack of Newport 100s a day & would like to try this as my third chance of quitting.
If anyone could help, which website should I checkout?
Which model would be almost right for me & similar to the brand of cigs I'm used to?Horseshoes & HollyWoodComment

Re: E-Cigs..anyone tried one?
Also, has anyone tried the Blu-Cig that I see advertised here on OS? I'd like to try that one but looking around they say you get a few good puffs at first but then have to wait a few minutes for another "satisfying one".
Do the ones you guys are using have any draw backs like that? No pun intended of course.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon.
