Im going on vacation tomorrow for a couple days so I was wondering how often do you guys go on vacation?

Living in Vermont is like a vacation everyday........States are so close up here, I can hit up any state very fast. I live 15 minutes from the NY border, 12 minutes from the Mass border, 2 hours from the Canadian border, 40 minutes from the New Hampshire border.
So it is like I eat in NY, conversate in Mass, shop in NH and go back home to Vermont by evening time

Hardly ever. I do take some days off at work, but I don't care about going on vacation. I can just watch TV and eat some snacks, go out for a walk (better in the winter than the summer), Play video games...that's my vacation. I'm not a big fan of long drives, and I still haven't even seen everything in my area. So, I guess no "real" vacation for me anytime soon.
I'm pretty sure my "vacation" will start when NBA 2K11 is out.

I just got back from Rome and Paris a week ago. I hadn't went on a "true" vacation (i.e., longer than a couple days) since 2002 (Hawaii), so it was nice!

Last year I went to Kansas City, St. Louis, and Chicago for ten days. Other than that, its little minor trips to local areas around here every so often (Vegas, SD, Santa Barbara, etc)
Before that Midwest trip, I hadn't legitimately gone anywheresince 2004.Comment

Being in the military you get 30 days of leave a year so technically if you worked 12 years you were on vacation for a year of it but my last vacation was june/july. I took 3 weeks off to go home to Texas / vacation to Florida.MLB: Texas Rangers

I don't consider them vacations, but I make the 5 hour drives to Minneapolis and St. Louis a couple of times a year for Vikings and Cardinals games (my NFL and MLB teams). I will usually see 2 Vikings games and 5 or so Cards game each season.
Other than that I haven't vacationed in a while. My last would be a trip to Atlanta a few years ago with family.Comment

In the past 5 years we've been to the grand canyon, Mexico, St. Petersburg, a Caribbean cruise, and Hilton Head twice. We also get to go to the beach about 4-5 times per year. We are lucky.Comment

Normally I go skiing for a week around Christmas time, and a week during spring break. During the summer I usually go on a vacation or two, but this year I've just been home doing football workouts. I also leave tomorrow to visit Michigan and Cornell, if college visits can be considered a vacation.

Vacations I have once a year, a week in Punta del Este. The only time I left my country for vacation was Bariloche,Argentina with my high school class.Comment

I try to to do at least 2 good trips a year. Last year I spent 2 weeks in the Outer Banks (NC) and a week in London, England. This year I am going to Oktoberfest in Germany for 2 weeks.Comment
