I'm not a fan of "national chain" pizza places. I prefer places that are their own singular place. I think the quality of the pizza is much better at those places

The local places ALWAYS taste better... but the chains have better deals. Like little caesars 2 large 2 topping for 14.99 ... locals places can't beat that

I'm just hoping I can sleep more than 6 hours tonight. Most I've slept all week. Worst night was when I went to bed at 11 and woke up at 3 and could not fall back to sleep.

Man, I keep falling asleep late in the evening and then waking up in the middle of the night. I mean, I fell asleep at halftime of the ND game then I just woke up 10 minutes ago. This kinda thing has been happening for a week now. I'ts getting ridiculous, either i'm depressed or my body clock is screwed up. If this continues over the next 3 days I'll have to go see my doctor or something.

So, as some of you may know, I'm on the radio team for a AA baseball team. For the last week and a half, we've been in the playoffs. All season long we've had the best record in the league and won our division in the 1st round of the playoffs. Next up was the league championship series with the defending champions who beat us last season for the title. Alllll season long we've been looking ahead to this very series for redemption.


Well tonight, on the road, the game went to the bottom of the 9th scoreless. Leadoff batter takes the 2nd pitch and deposits it into the left field bleachers. Game over. Season over. No championship. Since it happened, I've been numb. It won't hurt until the numbness goes away. Then it's going to hurt for awhile. All season we all just knew in the end, we'd be the champions.


I really hate baseball sometimes.

So I pretty much won my version of the superbowl tonight. (To the point that I broke down when it was all said and done and I was heading home) The stress for this event was unmeasurable.

Hospital foundation memebers, the mayor, local dignitaries, all my bosses, CEO, CFO, VP's, etc. Basically everyone that pays my salary.

All at one event to help raise money for the hospital I work for. 500 people. Carved beef filet, wonton purses, asparagus bundles, triple berry torte...

Been workin months for this party, and my team of chefs and I pulled it off flawlessly.

I am so glad it's over.

So.
Very.
Glad.

Now I can really enjoy my Son's season opener for Fall Ball tomorrow.

Funny that some of you guys are talking about sleeping early and waking up late. I just woke up an hour ago (1 AM) after being up for 27 hours and going to sleep at 7 PM. It feels weird waking up at 1 like it's 8 in the morning.

Oh yeah, I should mention too that 2 hours into my awesome sleep (my body was basically dead and not functioning normally after being up for an entire day), I get woken up to the sound of some dumb bitch obnoxiously ringing my doorbell and knocking on the door at the same time. One of the worst possible things to have to wake up to. I wanted to kick her in the head.

If you owned a business that was open 24/7 for many years and you decided to close it overnight would you put a sign up that has your new hours on it or just leave it for your customers to figure out?

Grocery store I always go to seems to be closed late at night now and they haven't bothered to put up a sign or anything.

what a great morning. Took the family to Cracker Barrell for breakfast, had a great time. Food was excellent, talked, and just had a grand ol time.

Looking forward to doing that again soon.

Plus, it keeps them from coming over to my house
