I am so glad my wife doesn't believe in the honey do list. But then again she grew up in a navy family and was in the navy herself. Therefore she and all the females in her family are self reliant.

They all can fix a car, fix a motorcycle, hunt, mow grass and fix anything that needs fixing. So if something breaks she fixes it herself. Or if grass needs to be cut she goes out and mow it.

Her mom is 70 and still fixes her own car and hunts.

I remember I was a freshman in high school when I 1st found out that they had 2 different kinds of sausage for a pizza. Beef or pork. And the only reason why I found out was because my home room won a pizza party and it was this muslim kid in there who said he couldn't eat pork sausage it had to be beef.

I always wondered what happened to him, he could draw anything that he saw. Later on in life I would come across 3 other people that could draw as good as him too. People who can draw that good, that damn fast, because literally they could draw a whole background with people in it under a minute, they always pissed me off LOL.

Yum, that's pretty much my favorite, too. Backup plan is chicken and bacon.

Anyone ever had a chicken, bacon, and ranch (instead of pizza sauce) ?

Starting to wonder if we should just have an entire thread dedicated solely to pizza

Man people who can draw always pissed me off too. I'm terrible at it. It's the reason I was so happy my band class in 9th grade counted as an art credit for high school. Playing the drums was pretty much the only thing I ever excelled at. But I gave that up becasue I hated the band at my high school.

So the Texans/Skins game goes off and on comes a show about stupid Alpacas. Now I can't find the remote.

All at one event to help raise money for the hospital I work for. 500 people. Carved beef filet, wonton purses, asparagus bundles, triple berry torte...

Been workin months for this party, and my team of chefs and I pulled it off flawlessly.

I am so glad it's over.

                So.
                Very.
                Glad.

Now I can really enjoy my Son's season opener for Fall Ball tomorrow.
Do you get a bonus for it all...I mean there must be some kind of incentive for culinary events like that, right?

Need for Speed needs to re-release Most Wanted. New story line, whatever, but keep the same style of customization with a bigger city, and more cars.

that would give NCAA 11 a run for it's money in my books.

Such a Meh Football weekend and even some of today's games weren't all that interesting to me. But of course since I love NFL so much, there was no way I could pass them up but it was definitely a dry Week 2 of Football.

The bonus I get is my salary and benefits. It's a long story but....

They pay me to pull these events off. I really think it's why they hired me in the first place. Working for a non-profit org I don't get any incentives/bounses, anything. It all goes to the hospital for patient equipment and to help supply better healthcare for the community.

It's been the demise of Chef's before me in my position cause it ticks em off they don't get anyting "extra" for these events. However, I'm a fairly new executive chef and all I know is the hospital has taken care of me and my family (Vacations and tons of time off all year long, full medical benefits, retirement, great hours, etc...) so in return I give them the same respect and bust my arse.
