Gosh, what a horrible representation of a country...you'd think any country would be able to step up for a world event. No matter how backwards it usually is or isn't.

Also, I think we should have "reporter points" and then once someone reports a certain number of posts they get something cool. Like a beer. Or 20 bucks.

When the new TOS was being discussed a few months back I recommended the same thing you just said and I got lambasted by everyone with a colored name. Most common response: You should report people to make the forum better, not for any kind of incentive.

That's true. But sometimes people just want a beer. LMAO. I think people care about beer more than a forum.

I get that response, but at the same time, you've got to incentivize things if you want people to do them. Look at the gov't and energy efficient windows/doors. Everyone knows they want to do it, but they don't. As soon as the gov't says it'll be a tax deduction if you get them, everyone and their mother rushes out to get them.

LOL @ Seasme Street for pulling that. I just seen it on youtube. What she has on is regular clothes. Not like she has big balloons anyway, hers are small. I mean seriously whoever pulled it need to go to school and see what kindergarden teachers are wearing, they are showing way more cleavage there then what Katey Perry showed.

Heck I even seen more cleavage at church then what Katey Perry was showing. SMH

I think I'm in Psych class all over again. This is exactly what we talked about today. Mostly it was about those surveys that some companies put on receipts. No one ever even really thinks about doing those things unless:

A) There is a reward for doing it.
or
B) They want to complain about something.

Past that you'll never get people to do anything most of the time even if they know it's better or will improve something.

I am very angry right now at EA, specifically their Madden Online Franchise team. How huge problems get overlooked in the patch is beyond me. Especially when they say they will fix something, and it gets worse after the patch.

I feel pretty good about myself for catching that spam in the Soccer forum. That's enough for me. I lead a sad, sad life.

Anyways, the Canadian athletes are being warned about going there. In fact, IIRC the government has requested that they delay the flight to India until we find out if things are going to get better or not.

It's a pretty big fiasco and puts India in a very bad light.

Unlike the chinese hosting Beijing Olympics, India does not appear to be ready to step up as a world economic power if they cannot host these games.

I just saw the clip just now....You know if Jim Henson was still running the show he wouldn't give a damn about public pressure. It's funny how a show that started off as being very subversive has become the very thing that would make Henson sick to his stomach.

I honestly didn't know Seaseme Street was still on the air. None of my neices and nephews watched it, and none of my friends kids watch it. They all about Dora the Explorer, The Backyardigans, Sponge Bob. Phineas and Furb, Icarly.

I grew up on Seaseme Street, The Electric Company.
