Re: Off Topic 2010
I was thinking he might be getting old and losing bladder control, but that's probably not happening at only 4.
I did notice after re-reading it seems as though you leave his food out and then he just eats whenever? Or am I not understanding you correctly? If you are leaving his food out like that I'd try and get him on a schedule.
This part, "like leaving it out for consumption for only an hour before we take him out".Comment

Re: Off Topic 2010
Yep. How long should we leave the food out for him to eat before? The only thing that makes me weird about this is that its never been a problem before (leaving the food out). We tend to do that just in case someone is not at home and he needs to be fed.I was thinking he might be getting old and losing bladder control, but that's probably not happening at only 4.

Re: Off Topic 2010
To be honest I don't really know how long you would want to leave the food out. I feed my dog at specific times each day and he eats right then.
I was just curious about you leaving the food out because it's possible he's eating at different times now then he used to be, which is causing him to have to go at different times from when you normally let him out. That said, it could be a bladder problem and if possible you might want to take him to the vet.
How long has it been going on?
I'll try and call my step-mom tomorrow as she's very good with these things, but I suspect she'll just mention the same thing I did about when you feed him and possibly taking him to a vet since I get most of what I know from her.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2010
how long has a console comparison been against the TOS?
I've never been one to get in the middle of that, but the NBA 2k forums pulled me in...Last edited by OSUFan_88; 09-26-2010, 10:26 PM. Reason: Yeah, cannot go off topic in the off topic thread, moron.Too Old To Game Club

Re: Off Topic 2010
Ummm dogs need to go out more then twice a day. If you can't take him out more then twice a day, then you need to put his food down only at the times you can take him out 30 minutes after he is done eating.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2010
Comparison in itself isn't against TOS, it is how people go about it that violates TOS. It is all in the way you say it and how often you say it. Some people like to repeat themselves 5 times or more in a one hour time frame in the same thread.
Then others go about it in a blatant bashing way by saying one is superior then the other. Kind of sad really because 99% of those people don't have a clue what they are talking about.Comment

It's happened like 6 or 7 times since the beginning of the month. To be honest I don't really know how long you would want to leave the food out. I feed my dog at specific times each day and he eats right then.

We removed the big rug that he was crapping on, exposing the hard wood, so let's see if that makes any difference. I'll also tell my parents to only leave the food out for an hour or so before he is to go eat. He is the type of dog who doesnt like to eat if no one's around in the house, so I'm not sure. Maybe it's acting up. Maybe he ate something while out on a walk or something, or something around the house.Comment
