I guess it depends what you do when you take him out. My roommate works all day so I watch her dog while she's out, and take him for a walk usually between 1pm-2pm. I do this so he'll completely empty out and I don't have to worry about taking him out again for the rest of the day (roommate comes home around 10 and he becomes her problem).
Funny sidebar, this old lady once stopped her car in the middle of the road to yell at me to make him go in my own yard.... I didn't know if she was serious or not and just smiled at her, then she drove away. Today that same lady stopped and yelled at my roommate while she walked the dog. She claimed she had to cut down 2 trees in front of an apartment complex because the dog peed on them.... I mean seriously, cmon lady.
My roommate was pissed (she loves confrontation) and she tore this lady up. This dog weighs 9 lbs, believe me his pee doesn't cause any trees to die. There were a few big storms here recently and I noticed the wind had ripped a couple branches down and then 2 days later they'd cut the trees down completely. This clearly had nothing to do with the dog.
And besides that, this dog is tiny, he runs out of pee before we even get near those trees, he just flips his leg up and fakes it (idunno why) but he's on empty. The trees in question have never even been peed on by him lol. Like i said earlier, my roommate is the queen of confrontation and she can't wait til this old broad starts up again...
