Anyone good at the barber-shop/haircut lingo? Looking to get my head shaved down a bit, but don't quite know what to ask for. I usually just get it shaved down to a simple buzz with a 2-blade because my hair doesn't cooperate when it's longer and I like it better shorter...but I'm looking for something more like how a guy like Beckham has his shaved down (sans the ridiculous receding hairline near the temples) - I just don't know what to ask for and clearly I don't have the kind of barber shops that the famous people have:

          or

          'tf do I ask for?

And yes, I kinda puked a bit posting a picture of Beckham and Timberlake in the same post, but they're the first two people who popped up on a quick google search of hairstyles similar to my description.

The whole power went about an hour after I got to work. I worked on cleaning out my cubicle for a while. After we heard the power wasn't going to be restored until at least noon, I came home to work.

I got to work 30 min late. Fail.

I had to make 2 pit stops on the way to work cause of an angry stomach disagreeing with dinner last night. Fail.

My Sysco driver dropped off our delivery at 3:00 am (we usually get our deliveries at 600am) and didn't put any of the frozen items in the freezer. 9 gallons of ice cream looking like my dinner did on the way to work this morning. Fail.

              I'm off on Friday. Win.

In other news, the little california girl that was abducted last night was found right across the street from where my wife works this morning. The report here says they don't have the guy but my wife says when she got to work they had a man in custody. Happend just maybe 30 min ago or so. Wow.

A Japanese man holds the record for most hits in a Major League Baseball season.

And now an American man holds the record for the most hits in a Japanese Professional Baseball season.

                      Okay let's try this again:

That's pretty interesting. I believe an American also holds the record for most HRs in a season there. The cultural differences used to be HUGE. It's still a big thing but the gulf has been bridged a bit. Jesse Barfield once wrote a book about his experiences over there and it's quite fascinating.

Tuffy Rhodes, Alex Cabrera (yes the one who played for the D-Backs for a while) and Sandaharu Oh are tied at 55 HRs in a single season.

Yeah been laggy for me too. Booted a couple times as well.
