So my friend texted me telling me there is a shooting spree going on in northwest indiana. Started in IL, but now it is in northwest Indiana. Somebody or bodies are going around shooting random people. And this afternoon it made it's way to one of the super walmarts out there and they had that store on lockdown.

Craziness.....this spree been going on for over a week now. So far I think only 2 or 3 people are dead, some wounded with a lot of cars hit. Craziness.

One of the guys killed had just found a good job too after being layed off for over a year. Messed up. I hope eventually they catch the person or persons who is doing the spree. Because as of now they don't know if it is just one person or a group of people doing it.

I've got a bunch of family in NW Indiana. They were all freaking out on Facebook because the shooter was in the area and at large.

Scary stuff.

This type of stuff pisses me off. A lot.

They had the Taliban in it, or something similar. Some people get a little too sensitive.

people that go on shooting sprees are *******,they cant face their own problems, so they snap and hurt innocent people, O would imagine you would have to be pretty sick in the head too. But in the
nothing is gained and everything is lost, and your town is ruined in the process.

Yeah people who never been there getting too sensitive. I was there and don't have a problem with it. Hell I wish EA contacted me for I could have told them some of my stories.....

I don't remember all that much outrage over MW2's airport massacre (some, not a lot), which sounds about 100x more offensive than just having the Taliban in a game.

Jack Thompson can only wish that he had something to do with it. And his quote, quite comical.

The military had already decided that they were going to ban the game from being sold on base. Not sure what Jack Thompson did.

What I find hilarious in all of this, is just because the Taliban is mentioned in the game, people are going ape**** about how it shouldn't be released because it depicts the violence bestowed on family's loved ones who's lives were lost in this war. But when the COD games were released mimicking WWII, none of these people were speaking.

I'd say it's been a pretty impressive debut for Halladay.

Brian Anderson calling this game? He deserves to call a no-hitter once. Love him on the Brewer broadcasts.
