Just got a wondrous grade of 51% on exam #3 (of 4) in Chemistry 101.

Drops my grade from a B to a C. I can't wait to get out of that class. Unfortunately, my major requires that I take CHEM 201, as well.

On the bright side, I have a 99% in Chemistry lab!

At least I have As in Meteorology 213 and English 101.

Anyone got any good remedies for a sore throat? I've had this for nearly 3 weeks now. I've been to the doctor's and the walk in clinic and every single time the response is, 'use a vaporizer and drink hot water and lemon". I'VE TRIED IT!

I've gargled with salt water, lozenges, cough syrups, neo-citran, etc I asked them if it could be strep throat or anything more serious and it's been dismissed.

Had this same problem a few months ago. No strep or anything. They just gave me ibprofen till it finally just went away took a few weeks. The ibprofen helped great at night to help me sleep.

Moving in........

Apparently it is some new MTV show, just watched it online. It is about a girl who is dating two boys at once. One of the boys is a music playing, candle loving, sensitive douche and the other is a big bad boy that looks like he played on the movie Grease as a biker.

Anyway both of the 2 boys move into the girls parents house for a weekend and the parents at the end decides on what boy the girl should date. It was funny the dad called the sensitive music playing boy a fruity douche.

I must say how far down our society has come to have a tv show like this on tv. 10 years ago that girl would have been called a slut for dating 2 boys at the same time. Now it's help me decide what boy I should date.

That is just as bad as having teen mom on tv and 16 & married on tv.

I'll try anything! It has just been brutal. I'ts always first thing in the morning and then I'm fine all day long and by about 8:30pm it comes back again. My throat just feels like it's on fire.

What is this MTV you talk about? There was a channel called MTV that played MUSIC videos when I was a kid, but around the time I went to college they stopped doing that.

Amazingly ironic I know that the music channels BET, MTV and VH1 don't play music at all anymore. Instead they play stupid reality shows and old 90s and 80s movies & tv shows.

If it isn't a dumb reality show, it is the following movies:

New Jack City
8 Mile

1. You ever have a friend or co-worker who has an ugly baby, but yet they always showing pictures of that baby to everybody they come across everyday saying how cute their baby is ? Then on top of it they enter that ugly baby into a cutest baby contest online and ask everybody to vote for their baby ?

Pretty much every baby is ugly...that smushed looking face, the lumpy cranium, the doughy limbs.

And yes, I'm a parent.

I'll try anything! It has just been brutal. I'ts always first thing in the morning and then I'm fine all day long and by about 8:30pm it comes back again. My throat just feels like it's on fire.

Could it be something environmental in your home that you are reacting to? If the doctors are swearing up and down that it's nothing medical, it could be an irritant in the air.

If it keeps persisting, perhaps you should force the doctors to do some type of blood work or other tests just to make sure they're not missing anything.
