Cmon man, He provided alot to this community here. One more chance for him, i know his blind loyalty to FSU can be annoying as hell but he needs one more chance. Hell where else will we get our free Mass. common wealth law info from?

He was already banned once before and then came back a few months later. I don't blame the mods for banning anyone, if they've been here for 7 days or 7 years.

My only thing was that he's been a part of the community for so long it seemed weird that we couldn't even talk about it. Just to act like nothing happened even though one of the main posters was banned.

Where am I going to get all my ferret info from?!?!

I think it's best we just get told right off the bat why a well known/well respected/etc. poster gets banned, instead of trying to keep it under wraps. Most people are just gonna keep asking until they get an answer.

Just my opinion though. I'll shut up now before I end up sleeping with the fishes.

The reason we dont discuss bans in public is because no one wants to have a back and forth discussion with posters about whether a ban was justified or not.

We have a checks and balances system here. If Steve or Mil disagree with a ban or infraction, they have the ability to reverse them. They may even reverse this ban, As you can see, they havent reversed alot of bans in the past because pretty much all of them are clear cut and justified.

Also lets not make it like people get banned for their opinions. Plenty of people post disagreeing with the mods and they are still around. As long as your opinion doesnt violate the TOS...there is nothing to worry about.

Personally, I think there should be a forum where mods post all the details of the bannings, link to the posts that got them banned and/or post a copy of the pm that got them banned. Just joking in case it wasn't obvious.

I think there should be some sort of notice on why users are banned. Just to make an example like "Okay, this is why _____ was banned. This time of activity is ban worthy." Kind of like how you can click the red cards on posts

I don't think it's anybody's business why he was banned. He violated the TOS, he's gone.

Although, it would be awesome to see why people get banned. Or the aftermath PM's.

See that would never work because then people would start arguing over why or why not that person should have been banned or about how so and so did virtually the same thing and didn't get banned. Now haven't the mods already told us at least twice to get back <STRIKE>on</STRIKE> off topic?
