That's amazing. I'd probably want to kill myself after eating those. Or just go straight to the doctor and get gastric bypass surgery done.Comment

You should already know whats ban worthy....its in the TOS.

If you get banned, you should be able to buy a "get out of Jail" , $50 or $100 would be a acceptable amount. It is enough to make you think before you post but not enough to be able to pay. If a said offender keeps on getting banned them keep on upping the Ante.
This is really a win-win idea for all involvedMy dog's butt smells like cookiesComment

Not really. Its reading and understanding. People should be old enough to understand whats in the TOS and how to conduct themselves accordingly. Besides, bans aren't typically for one time offenses. People are warned what is crossing the line, they either abide or they continue breaking the TOS and thus end up banned.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

Re: Off Topic 2010
That idea has nothing to do with Soviet Russia or Communism, if anything it is all American: Buy your way out of trouble.
Fact is, Imposing fines on those who are banned would serve the same exact purpose as banning them. When they get banned 2 or 3 times, the fine would be so heavy they would not pay it. Or If OS meant that much to them, they would pay and it would make the OS experience that much better because you know they will mind what they say and they will have made a Major contribution to the forum. My dog's butt smells like cookiesComment

I think you're missing the point of why people are banned. That idea has nothing to do with Soviet Russia or Communism, if anything it is all American: Buy your way out of trouble.

People are banned because they can't abide by the TOS, are a disruption to the boards, and in most instances serve very little, if any, value to the community.
I fail to see the upside to imposing fines on people who are banned. And the idea that anyone would pay a "fine" to re-join the boards is a stretch, as is the idea that OS would be willing to "bend the rules" for someone who's willing to throw money at them and "buy their way out of trouble".I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
