Be thankful you're not a Bills fan.

You'd be hard pressed to find any coverage of the Bills and when you do it's either the "HA-HA! Look at those losers!" or "Boy that franchise is in disarray" variety. It makes me long for the days when they were talked about all the time and in a positive manner.

Lions aren't any better. It's still all aboutthe 0-16 season and they are still the butt of almost every NFL joke.

You got some, but there are some errors too:

Henderson was released in the offseason. He's now on Oakland.

Brian Witherspoon is also not on the team, he is on the Panthers.

Reggie Nelson was traded to Cincinnati in a gigantic steal, getting David Jones.

Derrick Harvey (DE from 2008 draft) still plays for the Jags, but Quintin Groves (2nd rounder in that year) was traded to Oakland for a 5th round pick on Draft Day this year.

But pretty damn good job. More than Chris "My sanity is going, going, GONE!" Berman.

Not every joke. Detroit people must not have anything better to do, because they kept going to games when y'all went 0-16. Jacksonville fans abandoned the team during a 5-11 season after a wild card berth, and being able to drive for the playoffs last year didn't bring them back.

The sad thing is, that in Jacksonville, apparently you can be a Gator, or you can be a Jaguar. And the Gators have been there longer.

I can only hope that the game on Sunday brought people back. The defense was better (3 sacks, one by Alualu, and one by Kampman, good for t-5th in the league, far better than last year's last place showing), the offense was smart, never turning the ball over (that's right, Garrard threw no picks, and no one lost a fumble). Garrard completed 16 of 21 passing with three TDs, two to Marcedes, and one to Kassim Osgood.

Plus, it got under the skin of the people who said the Jaguars should have drafted Tebow, especially when he had... what, 3 plays in the entire game?

It was a fun, yet tense, entertaining game, and I think it might have something to do with a resurgence of football in Jacksonville.

He started off strong... a sack and a half, and three total tackles, and a win. Not too bad of a day in the Florida heat (and rain).
