The "Frank's" one - nothing gourmet or anything, but we never used to put dressing, ranch or blue cheese, or crumbled blue cheese/shredded mozzarella or cheddar.
Ours was just chicken, Franks, and cream cheese.
I'm interested to see how it tastes with a little ranch flavoring and the extra mozzarella/cheddar cheese (my family hates blue cheese so that would've been pointless).Comment

Frank's is a pretty good hot sauce that's around up here. I assume it's down there, or you can find an equivalent.
And I actually used canned chicken since we had some at the house because an idiotic family member of mine bought chicken instead of tuna, and it was probably eight thousand times easier than boiling chicken beforehand.

I'm sure one of the Chefs on here could whip up a gourmet, kick-*** version of this, but for a semi-broke college-aged kid, this **** works wonders.Comment

I'm on the west coast and we use Franks by the gallons (at work). With frank's it's all about keepin it simple, like the recipe you linked. That **** can't stand on it's own. We do a buffalo chicken salad with crispy boneless wings that we toss in franks hot sauce and softened butter. The butter helps to make the franks sauce stick to the chicken and gives the sauce a nice buttery finish.
We put that on a bed of greens with crutons and fresh crumbled gorgonzola, and ranch dressing.
