This, especially during the holidays.

Our mall is horrible and never busy, but since we're one of the anchor stores, we still get a good amount of business. I couldn't imagine working at a bigger JCPenney, or even at our Wal Mart.

Why would I be joking? I said "at least currently". What jobs were you looking at when you were my age? Maybe you're confused? I didn't mean it like those are my 'dream dream' jobs. If I could choose any job or career, those places would be dead last. I just meant, currently, and realistically speaking, those are about the best opportunities I have. I love games. I love electronics. So, in my current situation, those would be the jobs I would want.

If we're literally talking about our dream jobs, mine would probably be an astronaut or crime investigator. Astronaut probably will never happen, but I am absolutely obsessed with space.

And that is unbelievable. We hit 14,000, from yours truly(my "Mods are lame" post), just a few days ago.

A benchmark post in a thread we historically have closed in a week, and it's about mods? Wow. But that's ok. Jeremy Bates compared to Tom Moore= Bates can still please a woman without risk of aneurysm or hip fracture

I follow you on this, actually. It took me 10 years after hs to determine a "dream job" after "english teacher," "baseball coach" and "radio play by play guy" ...now I have a calling and it's way diff. then I expected.

Like I said im sorry and dont need to justify yourself. Btw astronaut may be out your reach but CSI is approachable!

I didn't even realize it was the 14k post until I backed out of the thread after posting it.

I still can't believe we've racked up almost 1k of posts in a few days.

EDIT: That post was made nearly exactly 3 days ago. So we're averaging over 300 posts a day. LOL

It's cool, I wasn't offended. And astronaut is easily out of my reach. But growing up, that's what I always wanted to be.

I'd also put something involved with sports up there. A broadcaster, radio guy, analyst, etc. Although I wouldn't like everyone on forums, such as OS, calling for my head.

I'm the Director of Ticket Operations for the Diamondbacks Single-A club here in Washington.

Our season is short season, so we only play 76 total games compared to 145 that typical minor league teams play. Our staff is probably the smallest in the country, so we have to monitor all the operations and logistics constantly throughout our games. It'd probably be a lot different if we had a bigger staff and were able to watch more of the games like most other teams. From the first week of May until the start of the season, I work 6 days a week. From June-September, it's bumped up to routinely 70-80 hour weeks (10am-midnight). And it's absolutely awful pay.

The season flies by, and so do my summers. My fiancee is a teacher so I never get to spend time with her when she has her time off. My dream job would probably be to end up in a marketing or ticketing position at a major D1 athletic college. Or something that I liked doing and made a lot of money at.

Anyways I decided to go to bed, well for me and I'm glad I did. I feel quite rested and much better than I felt at times last night. Anywho, I was talking to an online friend last night and we got to talking about Millionaire. I had no idea they totally changed the format of the show. It's a lot more interactive and interesting now IMO.

Last thing - I went to bed at 3 woke up at 7 to go to Kohls. Probably shouldn't have agreed to go and then stay up until 3am. I'm not all that tired now, though. It will hit me like a ton of bricks in a few hours, just in time for work.
