Anytime we have a "potluck" at work this is what I bring. It's easy, no cooking required and it's always a hit. It's called Texas or Cowboy Caviar.

2- Cans of Black Eyed Peas
1- Can of Yellow Corn
1- Can of Shoepeg Corn
1- Bell Pepper
Half of an Onion
10 oz- of Zesty Italian Dressing

Mix ingredients together and refrigerate for about two hours.

Serve with Frito's Scoops (you'll probably need two bags) or whatever chip you prefer.

Just don't knock it until you try it. Also, there's plenty of varying recipes online just Google Texas Caviar or Cowboy Caviar. I guarantee you won't find a bad review.

I thought there was supposed to be avocados in that. I made it once for a work thing and my recipe had them in there.

I don't put them in mine but, mine is the "cheap and easy" recipe. I have saw some recipes with them in there and I've saw some recipe's with other thing's too. I guess it all just depends on your taste and what not.

They did. I like to mix it up so I'm not always bringing the same thing. Next week is our Christmas party and I'm doing a pasta salad.

I see everyone talking about how they get the last couple weeks of the year off and cringe. As an accountant, we get to gear up for year end and then have our busiest time of the year. That's alright, I prefer to take my long vacations in the summer when there's golf to be played.

I love my two weeks off for Christmas, but I like my regular one week off a month too. But I am glad it is Friday.

Yep. Same. I wish I could find my very first post, but I've found others and I was quite immature. OS is just so much different than the rest of the internet. Most new people that come on these boards think it's okay to sit there and troll their *** off and call other members idiots because they don't agree with their post or what have you. I found one of my posts where I was arguing with Olsen For Heisman/Chip Douglass and I didn't agree with what he was saying and I started the post by saying "SHUT UP". Half the crap I said back then I wouldn't even think about saying now.

I am still thinking about getting a job at best buy. Blue is so my color. It matches well with my blue eyes. But then I think I would be tired for my full time job. But I have been thinking about a part time job though.

And I get paid for it too. Some times I don't understand how they let this happen, but I love working for the county.
