It beats the **** out of me, but I'd say football is a contact sport. Not sure about that...but if I am right, and football is indeed a contact sport, then wouldn't that result in injuries?

If it were truly a curse, wouldn't something happen every time? I just don't believe that because your picture is on the cover of a video game that you're now cursed and you'll get severely injured.

What are people's thoughts on going after girls that have a boyfriend?

Generally, I stay away from the situation, however there's this girl I've been friends with for almost 8 or 9 years now, we've always had a 'thing' but it never really amounted to anything...and then recently she's been texting me about her boyfriend ditching her, and seeming very uninterested in him. Now, everytime she asks me to hang out I'm always out already - terrible timing considering the other 60% of the time I'm free - but I decided to go ahead and respond to this text:

"I'm supposed to see a movie with my boyfriend tomorrow but he may be ditching me again"

With this text: "Then why don't you ditch him first and we can plan to hang out tomorrow?"

Was it as terrible of an idea as I feel it was?

I wouldn't get involved with their problems personally. Most of the times girls have other intentions, so I would be wary especially in a situation where she is apparently not getting enough attention from her boyfriend. I would figure that she wants to hang out to try and make her boyfriend jealous in order to get him to spend more time with her.

Personally, I don't like to go after a chick if I know she has a boyfriend. I've been there before and its been a little hairy and in the end its not worth it because, to be honest, I don't think I can see myself long term with a chick who is lining up boyfriends during relationships. Some chicks are slick and know how to avoid revealing the boyfriend status.

But he has been friends with her for eight years. Now here is where my advice gets weird. If there was a guy telling me he has this girl friend that is close to a guy she has known for eight years I would tell him tell her to break off that friend ship. Now that you are the friend bean I said go for it.
