That's the only reason I still have my Wii is for the GameCube compatibility. Plus, Mario is awesome.

When I got rid of the Wii I re-bought a Gamcube for the Mario's and Star War Rogue series...

Why the hell would you put the originals instead of the remastered on Blu-Ray?

The Point of BR is for HD, not grainy fuzzy original formats. Some people, I swear.

You want the originals, they have them, on DVD.

Personally I do not care... I loved them all my life, and still do. I do not obsess over silly things. It's the mans universe and movies, he can do what he likes with them. I am just along for the ride.

Some of them people also forgot what it was like to be a kid, you know, when they actually first fell in love with them.

If I want the theatrical originals, I pop in the VHS or the DVDs that launched a couple years back.

I'm not a big fan of the changes, like adding Christensen to RtoJ and the ****ing musical number in RotJ, but I'm not going to let those little things stop me from enjoying the hell out of these movies.

And the Blu-Rays are the definitive version of them, despite the changes. I could not be more impressed with the set.

And the Blu-Rays are the definitive version of them, despite the changes. I could not be more impressed with the set.

Yeah I'm not the biggest Star Wars fan but I'm enjoying these movies the picture quality is amazing as is the sound. They are much better than the VHS or DVD's.

Nah, Greedo shooting first will always be the epitome.

I do not harp on it since I have the VHS versions... but still.

The Hayden thing I was able to accept, because it looked like it fit. Especially after Revenge of the Sith, which is one of the baddest LS duels in all of them. Maul was cool, and had some nice flashy stuff, but the emotions and sheer technicality of the Obi-Wan and Anakin duel was just remarkable! And emotional.

That would have been way too much work...

But I understand what you mean. But also, the originals would not have the same feel without the fuzzy low res look.

But these BR ones are truly remarkable, with the sounds and visuals!
