I bought some Nutella for the first time last week. It's pretty good, but I can't help but feel it'd be better if it was just kind of a chocolate spread, rather than a chocolate/hazelnut mix.

Figured I should contribute here. I graduated from college in May, got my job and since then, I've been spoiling myself. While still saving on the side as well. Here are the items I have bought myself.

June 2011:

2011 Nissan Maxima. This is not the actual picture, same features as that but the Metallic Slate paint color.


Dynex 37in LCD TV. Nothing crazy here, just something for the room. Good picture, I'm enjoying it so far.

July 2011:

HTC Sensation. Nice phone, upgraded from the Samsung Vibrant. No complaints so far, although a few glitches with the latest system update.


Toshiba Thrive. I love it. I love the ports, basically the deal maker for me. I would love more Tab friendly Apps and supposedly with the Ice Cream Sandwich, that's what will happen. Don't let me down Google!


This is a must! Studying for this has been a pain, and I'm legit not even 15% in. Hard work pays off, and just have to keep at it. Most likely looking at taking the first exam in the beginning of Jan 2012. Wish me luck!

August 2011:

Same. Beat already, just got it last week. Most likely returning it to Gamestop tomorrow. Hooray for 7 day return policy!

I've also purchased a boat load of new(athletic) apparel but to search for those pictures would be too much work.

Honestly, never in my life have I been able to spend like that, it's been an experience. However, I've calmed down. I had my spending binge, and now I'm more responsible. -___-

I'm rolling a dice and going with the books and software. I got them for $500 off ebay. The course and everything is 3g's.

I thought about it, and I'm pretty good at 'teaching' myself as long as I have examples and such. My only real concern is the financial portion, lots of information.

Are you an Accounting major?

Are you an Accounting major?

Yup. I graduated in December with an accounting major and CIS minor. Of course they pushed the master's program and CPA angle, but I needed a year or two to "get my feet wet" before I made that commitment.

The Becker course always sounded like it was a good choice, though. The success rate was pretty damn high (80%+) and they have the "boot camp" at my university.

I know different states have different requirements, but in VA I can sit for a CPA exam, but I cannot be licensed until I have 150 total credit hours (which is basically another year of college courses - which is what my uni's master's program is).
