    This.

Had great vision until I was a Sophmore in College. Decided on a whim to go to the Optometrist because the girl I was dating at the time needed to go. Glad I did, he said, "You have been driving around like this?" So, I have been wearing glasses ever since. Tried contacts but they were never comfortable.

It is odd since I have always had great vision and hearing. Now I am getting old AGGGGGGGGGGGGG (Turn 30 in Feb)
I'd look into getting contacts for your left eye. That said, your vision in both eyes is going to be different. According to the doctor, with contacts my vision is 20:13 in one eye and 20:15 in the other. My right eye's contact prescription is 6.00 while my left eye's prescription is 6.75, so without contacts, it's a fuzzy, blurry, and nondescript world...

Go when you can, but if you can see and there is no pain, it should be fine to wait a month or so. Your right eye will pick up for the left. Yes it isn't good for it to do that for a long time, but it isn't going to do anything unless you have some other problem causing it.
