I'll start off. I'm a freshman majoring in Nursing, btw. The classes are alright. So far, it doesn't seem too difficult but I already found myself a lot in the library doing a lot of reading. I struggled in high school with my science classes, and obviously that'll prove to be a problem for me seeing that nursing is a science major. I'm taking Bio, Bio lab, Chem, and Chem lab. But overall, enrolled in 7 classes.
The whole adjusting to college thing is a little difficult for me. There are a ton of girls in my school, us guys are outnumbered 2:1 in the ratio scale (~1,100 girls / ~560 guys). But I started off slow talking to the better looking girls so I only got like 1 hot girl's number (lol) and a couple OK ones. Was never great at picking up numbers... so I need to work on that. And the only thing I hate about my suitemates is that none of them are nursing/science majors so no one has as much work as me. They come home very late and stay up very late and make a lot of noise while I'm trying to fall asleep around 11P-12A.
Overall, it's not bad. My college experience is so and so after the first week. I'm at home now because I needed to buy a lot more things for college such as school supplies, things for the room, etc. I can see the workload becoming very overwhelming in the future and that's the thing that's making me the most nervous. But other than that, I'm just trying to take it one day at a time.
