Ummm........if you are a cheerleader, it is your job to shake and dance. That's like a McDonalds employee saying they don't want to flip burgers. Or a Walmart worker saying they don't want to stock shelves.

It goes with the territory. If you are a cheerleader, you got to shake your butt, jump around. I find it ironic she didn't have a problem with it for 4 years, but now all of a sudden does.

Bad analogy. This girl is 11! Cheerleading isn't a "job", it's a recreaction. The coach could have handled this in a MUCH better way.

seriously, I dont know if you guys have ever been to a Peewee football game before but nothing those girls can do will be a crowd Pleaser. Lets be real here folks, the main purpose of the Cheerleader is Sex appeal. If you are going to a peewee football game to see the cheerleaders, well, you should probably see some professional help.

Think about it, When you see those college Cheerleaders on TV who are being help up in the air and stretch their leg above their head; we are not saying " wow she is Flexible!", we are actually thinking " Wow, I can almost see her Vagina!"

Re: Cheerleader Kicked Off Team For...

This reminds me of this other mom who didn't want her young daughter to say shake your booty. To me if you don't want your young daughter to say the word booty or shake their booty then don't put them on the freaking cheerleading team.

Both of my neices are cheerleaders......they been doing it since the age of 8, one is 19 now and is a cheerleader in college, the other is 16 and is a cheerleader in high school now. 2 of my sisters were high school cheerleaders. My mom and 7 aunts were high school and college cheerleaders, with some of them professional sports cheerleaders.

Sure it is a recreation but as a parent you should know what you getting your child into. Cheerleaders dance and cheer.

I mean whats next, some mom going to complain her son got tackled in a pop warner football game ? Or some mom going to complain their child in band was made to blow on a flute ?

Really? You'd be okay with someone kicking your 5th grade daughter out of a cheerleading squad because she wouldn't shake her ***?

As a parent, I would know what cheerleaders do. They can certainly "dance and cheer" but they have to shake their ***?! I mean, come on, really? It's imperative at a pop warner game? There are a million other things they could do.

Also, those are terrible analogies. You can't play pop warner without tackling and you can't play an instrument without your mouth.

They could certainly be cheerleaders without shaking their ***.

I agree, kicking her out of Cheerleading is believing the following:

                      1. There is a actual demand to see 11 year olds shake their a**.

                      2. Without these girls shaking their a** no one will watch you

                      3. You believe that 11 year old cheerleaders should shake their a** for the general public's pleasure.

I would tell her straight up if you want to be a cheerleader, dancing goes along with the territory. So if you are uncomfortable dancing in front of a crowd, choose another activity.

I mean seriously people, she been shaking her butt ALL SEASON LONG, and been doing it for 4 YEARS, now with 2 games remaining in the season she all of a sudden wakes up and say hey I don't want to shake my butt anymore.

Cheerleading is a team thing. What the heck is she going to do ? Have her own solo while the rest of the team do their routine ?

Something about that whole story just doesn't fit well.

I agree with madskillz. It is part of the sport. If she doesnt want to cheer and dance in front of a crowd then dont be a cheerleader. Simple as that.

Since when does dancing = shaking ***?

Yea last time I went to my nephews pop warner game, I actually avoided looking at the cheerleaders. It just didnt look right to see kids trying to do some of the routines.

That I agree with 100%. She had been on the team for 4 years and is 2 games away from then end of the season, but now has an issue. There is more to the story. At the same time I dont really care what more their is because either way I dont like the thought of 11 year old girls having to shake their asses.
