I think I've lost weight since I've gone to college. Sure, the food is bad, but I do a lot of walking to get around campus and such.

 Re: The Freshman 15

 Damn, you guys are midgets...

I actually lost 15-20 lbs. my freshman year but it was all baby fat. I actually ate a lot healthier in college since I had so many options to choose from at the dining halls.

Plus I puked up everything I ate/drank every Friday or Saturday night most of the year . .Comment

 Re: The Freshman 15

I got the freshman fifteen, and it's stayed around for the last decade plus.

I'm basically the same. Haven't gained any lbs (which hopefully continues), but I do a whole lot of walking. I walk everywhere, and I unnecessarily walk out of my way at times. People always ask me why I do that, I know the extra walking will help me out in the end. I've also always been a skinny dude (6'2 155 right now I believe), and I think my metabolism is probably still pretty fast.Comment

 Re: The Freshman 15

funny story about this theory. So recently my ex-gf from HS 5 years ago got in contact with me. And we were talking and what not about whats going on life. So my company got Box Seats to the Ravens Dolphins game. So i invite her to the game figuring i would get something out of it. Back in HS she was smoking hot and had a tight *** body. Come Sunday the Freshman 15 took over her life for 3 years. It was awful I didn't even notice her.

And for this story alone I blame Facebook for False Advertising.Comment

 1. Most women on Facebook and any other social website don't put up their recent pic, they put up their best picture, which could be anywhere from 5 to 15 years ago.funny story about this theory. 2. I graduated college about 10 years ago........damn near every woman I known back in college is a good 40 to 60 pounds heavier now. When women start having kids, at least half of them just balloon up to bbw size.Comment

 Re: The Freshman 15

Yeah, I do some unnecessary walking, as well, plus NC State has a pretty huge campus. I'm 6'0" 165 lbs. the last time I checked. I actually was 6'0" 175 lbs. at the beginning of my senior year of high school, but then I lost 15 lbs. in about two months even though I didn't change my diet or anything, but I'll take it.I'm basically the same. I did really well when I was at community college and stayed at my Grandma's house which was closer to campus......but since I transferred to UCLA in Summer of 08 til graduation in June '10 through now....I've gained about 40lb.

 Re: The Freshman 15

I lost weight my freshman year, and have a net loss as a senior now. Wouldnt recommend how I did it though... I was just too busy to eat more than one meal a day, I smoked alt of cigs, and drank alot..... being unhealthy in that manner made me lose weight. Nothing huge though, probably went from 225ish to about 205-200 total. I am 6'5"Comment
