    New Year's Resolutions- 2011

Alright now that we've got Christmas in our rear-view mirror, what everyone's New Year's Resolutions?

Mine is basically the same as last year---- to lose weight. I ended up losing about 5 pounds in 2010. Down from 230 to about 225 so, I guess that's a start.

With that said, I love food too much and I'm about 75% sure I'm not going to lose over 5-10 pounds. Therefore, I'm going to make another Resolution just in case. Without further ado my new Resolution is....No more buying sports games on release day. I'm going to wait until the season starts to pick up the game. Every sports game last year needed a patch on day one. So holding out until a month after release should give me a better quality of game.

The only sports game that I may make an exception for is NCAA 12. For that game I'll wait one wait instead of a month to pick it up.

So what is your 2011 Resolution?

    Quit chewing!

I have been chewing for 15 years( since baseball in college)and its time for that to stop. I have the date set of Jan. 12th, as I told the doc I had to wait until the bowl season was over!

Seriously just laughed out loud at this.

              Anyway..

              1. My career path is being a producer. My current job in that field is with the AA of the Cubs. So the job is only April, May, June, July, August, and September. I'm applying for jobs with Sirius/XM to be a producer for sports talks shows and various television stations throughout the southeast to be a newscast producer. If I don't have a full-time job by March, I'll be with the AA team again and once the season is over, I should have a lot of leads since 2 years being executive producer in the Cubs system opens a lot of doors. But I don't want to be in AA again since it's technically not a full-time gig.

              2. Gotta lose weight. I was around 175 near the end of baseball season and now I'm close to 190. Starting on this one as soon after the bowl games on the 1st.

              3. Grill more often. I haven't grilled anything since I moved to Tennessee back in March. Grilling is a chill event for me.

I plan on gaining around 30 pounds. I'm a cool 145 soakin' wet right now. I was up to 160 in high school during sports and that was when my body felt it's greatest.

So working out 4-5 times a week, eating right and taking supplements.

Cut back on Dr. Pepper. I used to not drink any at all, until football ended, and then I started downing them, like 2-3 a day. it's getting bad when my parents buy them just for me.

                          Make friends/be more outgoing.

Not be such a douche. I feel like I have turned into a terrible person over the past year or so and it's time to make some changes to the way I look at things.

                          Finally get out of Florida.

Ditto here. I'm 24 and weigh a whole 130 lbs. Plan to work out more often and eat much much healthier and more often with good meals and such.

Also to stop procrastinating when it comes to school work, and to be better with networking and job searching so I can get a job more easily when I graduate my MBA program.

Lose Weight. Admittedly I've been a pig lately and have been too lazy to get my fat *** to gym.
