Its never there fault, its the man and all men are up to no good and dogs.

Yea i have to agree about family drama ,my wifes family has issues too, its amazing how before your married the family looks like a good place. Then you get married then you realize how trife it really is.
Nah, I peeped game on her family beforehand. Everytime I would go to visit while we were dating, it was a bunch of women who were sitting around gabbing. My first inclination that they were overly busy was when I proposed to my wife. It was supposed to be me, my mother-in-law, and my wife's sister in the crib with my wife. Somehow all the extended family that lived nearby found out, so when I got to the crib, there was a house full of people. I was kinda salty about that because they weren't supposed to come until later on, but it wasn't my house. So I had to do my proposal with them all hanging around. That was my first idea that these folks didn't really know how to fall back.

And you're right, they never really feel that it's their fault with anything. I had to kick game to my wife about this one time, because she noticed that I was real cool with her pops, even though he and my mother in law had divorced because he cheated on her. I told her that the thing is, he didn't do anything to me. And I didn't know what the dynamic was between him and my mother in law. He may have felt justified in what he was doing. I don't condone or agree with what he did, but he was given the opportunity to stick around by my mother in law, and he said "nah, I'm good". But since she was the one that was there, all my wife got to hear was what a jerk he was, so on and so on. So I had to tell her, "you don't really know what was going on between them. You love your mother, but you don't know if the way she was acting with him pushed him to do what he did." She had never thought about it that way.

OK, well now it appears that my wife's sister is gonna stay with her husband. Not quite sure how that's gonna work. With all the family down there, everyone is gonna eventually know what went on, and they're gonna pretty much shun him like the plague. It would probably be in their best interest to move somewhere away from everyone so they can really focus on working on their issues.... As long as it ain't here.

Hopefully they can patch things up. Counseling wouldn't hurt. Thanks for the update.

I know my sister in law. She'll make this dude's life a living hell if she stays with him. She'll remind him at every turn about what he did. She has the upper hand in this one and she knows it. I told my wife, he might want to stay with her, but she has the capability of driving him off with how she handles that. It's a delicate situation, and she can't be acting crazy just because she knows that she has him by the short and fuzzies.

Through a little exploring I found this thread:

It seemed appropriate to reference here.

LOL Good find. I've often found myself thinking about how I could write some TV shows about them. In Spanish, I'd make it a telenovela, and in English it would just be a straight up sitcom.

Well, now it turns out my brother in law is staying with his wife... I'm left scratching my head. He had been talking big stuff to my wife saying that he was gonna leave her, and he was done and all that. Now he's gonna keep her around in spite of the fact that she seems to have an issue with keeping her pants on around other dudes. This makes the third time (that we know of) that she's let the next man hit. I'm not judging him on what he decides to do, but I'm not gonna sit there and listen the next time he wants to moan about how miserable his life is.

Sister in law is staying with her husband as well. I admit at not being surprised at that, knowing how she gets down. I might change my tune and actually show up to family functions now.

I admit that I did laugh at a few things in this thread, but there are a few sentences in the first post that I swear aren't written in English.

That's the only one where had I absolutely no idea at all what it meant.
