    Re: Off Topic 2011

Wasn't even thinking too much about picking up Madden 12 today, still doing work on a SF 49ers franchise on Madden 10. Then I saw some commercials, the clock started ticking... and then the nail in the coffin. Woke up this morning and the fiance' and her mom are going to the beach. "Nah, I'll pass, have fun guys!"

    Maddenoliday, bitches!

I think GameStop opens at 11. Gonna pick up M12 and (super late on this one) COD: Modern Warfare 2. Yup, never upgraded from MW1. And I'll be rocking the OS t-shirt... only clean shirt I got left. Chances of doing wash today: .004%

I haven't played Madden in 4 years. Wow. And I was a Madden fiend.

Yeah, I took last year off. And I've only been mildly excited about the release. Honestly, I think it's just NFL fever that's caught ahold of me. And all the roster moves. Plus, new Bills uniforms!

Okay, okay. The new franchise improvements look sick.

The last Madden game that I played frequently was Madden 05...the only ones I've bought since were 09 and 10.

Same here. I bought 08 and played a season but was done pretty quickly with it.

In other news, finally went ahead and got NHL 2k3. I don't know why I never thought of just ordering off of Amazon. I'm kind of new to this whole online shopping thing. I'm more of a "drive to store, hope item is in stock, buy item" guy. But this is super convenient.

Hello, 21st century. Nice to meet you.

BTW, NHL 2k3 is my favorite NHL game ever. Played it to death back in the day. I may not play it that much, but I want to have it in my library. That's my reasoning for buying (probably paying too much... close to $15) an 8 year old game for and even older console.

Nope, yet for some reason Steam keeps downloading it to my computer without me telling it to.

Opposite, well almost, I get 7 weeks off a year. But usually take 4 and cash out 3. This year (including the next two weeks) I've taken a total of 32 paid days off. The rest I'm cashing out in November.

It takes alot of will power. I taste all day long though, so I don't really eat any large meals, I also make sure to work out at the gym 30 minutes every day before work and 2 hours a day on my days off to stay in somewhat decent shape.

So far everything has been a recipe (haha pun) for success as I am now considered the face of quality foodservice in my area and the hospital is now marketing my team and I locally to drum up more interest in our catering buisness.

                          I love my job.

The year that the Lions are above 80 OVR (default rosters) is the year that I buy Madden.

Okay, its been a good while since I've had to construct an excel spreadsheet with any kind of quality to it. I'm kind of stuck.

I'm creating an IRS interest calculator. I have a sheet set-aside as the data I'm pulling from which includes interest rates, the start and end date for when the interest rates are effective, and then number of days in each range.

For the input I have start date, end date, and assessment value. Outputs will show the total number of days, total interest, and total assessment.

Everything is simple except for calculating the interest. Since the IRS changes interest rates, each "period" has a different interest rate, so if I input a date range then the calculation will most likely need to involve multiple interest rates from the table. I'm not sure how to write the formula. I'm thinking vlookup is the right way to go, but I'm not sure how to write it so that multiple interest rates will be used in the calcuation.
