Re: Off Topic 2011
So I think I'm getting out of the business of buying player specific jerseys.
Years ago, I got a Zito jersey (still have a cat named Zito) he left to FA the next season.
I got a Jake Plummer jersey...The next season, he was replaced by Jay Cutler.
So, I figured I can't go wrong so I got both a home AND away Cutler jersey and we all know how that story played out.
This year, I finally decided to get an A's jersey again since it seemed like Billy Beane was going to start to settle in a bit with his players. I was choosing between Cahill and Anderson and figured I probably wouldn't lose with either of them.
Well, the A's resigned Cahill for four years and Anderson now appears headed to Tommy John surgery.
At least I still have a Matt Duchene jersey. Crossing my fingers for you buddy, look both ways when crossing the street.Last edited by kehlis; 06-07-2011, 12:42 AM.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2011
Generally you see Divisions where the lowest number is the best, or they use A and a number in front where the bigger the number, the bigger the school. I went to a 4A school which is actually comparable to Watson's 5A school. I'm not quite sure what the hell NY had. Also the bigger states use sections as well.Originally posted by BlueNGoldI feel weird for liking a post about exposed penises.Comment

Please, do not EVER buy a Philadelphia sports jersey.

Re: Off Topic 2011
That sucks, that's my biggest worry. I want to get a Marlins jersey but with that team it's so hard to choose a guy, almost got an Uggla jersey last year but luckily didn't.
I have authentic home Brees SB jersey and authentic away Colston jersey, I did take a risk last year and got the mardi gras CP3(wish I didn't for obvious reasons and the new gold jerseys look sick)Saints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

Re: Off Topic 2011
I never understood the concept of buying a jersey unless it was something that would be framed and hung on a wall. When in your life would you actually wear a jersey?Comment

Re: Off Topic 2011
I have a Philly Javon Kearse jersey hanging in the deepest part of my closet. Got it so long ago from my dad. It was a year where he was a Philly fan (worlds greatest bandwagon fan) and my first playing football.
Why do I still have that?Comment

Yeah.....I have a blue Cavs LeBron jersey. I won't get rid of it or burn it, but I refuse to wear it either.
Funny story is I bought that jersey for my birthday in 2009. There was a buy 1, get 1 50% off deal. Guess the other jersey I bought?
