    Dude, b-tches be crazy.

Holy mother. But I have to admit, telling her I'm going on a date with another girl was awwwwwesome. Won the breakup AND upgraded to a better girl.

How do you guys feel about hosting parties/events and charging people to watch ppv or b.y.o.b

To me, if you're going to host a party it's your job as a man to supply the party with drinks and/or food. Thats just they way i am. Of course my parties never get out of hand where my friends invite their friends etc... So it's usually a small group of people. My brother on the other hand is the total opposite. He wants everyone to bring their own stuff all the time.

I'm hosting a UFC party this weekend and i'm not offering people to pay me for the ppv bill or the beer.

If I had the money, I'd definitely supply everything. Hell, I think I would probably supply everything anyway. But when there's a lack of money going on, I think everyone sharing the costs isn't a bad thing.

Typically byob. I wouldn't charge them for the ppv. Usually gatherings at my apt at UA involved liquor so people would bring their own since not everyone wants to drink bourbon like my roommate and I. Some brought gin and some brought vodka.

I feel terrible for charging people for things I invite them to do. That ranges from charging to cover food costs for a party to gas money when I offer to drive someone somewhere.

If there's a lack of money the person should really prioritize things besides having a party. I don't know why i feel so strongly about this. I feel the same way if someone brought beer over to a party then takes whats left of the beer home.

Definitely. But it's always cool to hang out with the guys over a PPV, fight, game, etc.

Yeah, it would be horrible for someone to bring beer then take it back. Tha's definitely BS.

When I had the Super Bowl at my house this past year, I paid for everything. Went back inside my room and saw they had left cash on my bed for me. Totally unnecessary. I'm inviting, it's on me.

Because they're bringing it as their "offering" to the gathering that everyone's coming to and bringing other stuff to.

If I said "Oh no man, go ahead and take the beer back, I won't drink it" and they take it back, its one thing, but if they do it on their own then that's....well....thats BS.

Its like guy code. I'm supplying a place for you to drink your alcohol with friends and have a good time. (to me you should finish what you bring, but thats just me) Bringing alcohol to a party and not sharing is kinda lame to me too.

Im sorry I wasnt talking about beer or anything that is obviosuly for the group. But I know so many people on campus who buy their own alchohol and bring to a gathering for themselves or you gotta ask for some. Its taboo or something to just drink from another person's bottle of whatever.

People are really touchy about their bottles where I'm at.

But if it is clearly an offering, I completely get it.

I thought by now in my life i wouldn't be going to parties in which underage kids are present.

I'm with kingkilla, at all of the BYOB parties I've been to, it's truly "Bring YOUR OWN Booze", meaning you drink your stuff only. People who drink off of other people's bottles or beer supplies without asking are chewed out.

Sometimes I leave my extras there if it's a couple bottles of beer or whatever, but if it's anything more than that I'm taking it back with me.

I'm with you too. If I'm bringing over beer, and there's a good amount left over and we're clearing out, then I'm taking it with me. Just a few, whatever.

Unless you're a freeloader, people typically don't care if you drink some of their stuff. Just throw some beans my way and we're square.
