I just applied for a cashier job with Best Buy.

Not the kind of job I thought I'd be looking at after 2 years and nearly $80,000 worth of graduate school.

Sport and Performance Psychology.

Not a huge field, but I figured I would be able to get a mental health job of some sort to start out. I have work experience with that from right after I graduated from undergrad and my program was very similar to counseling psychology programs, but I haven't been able to get anything so far. Mental health doesn't get much funding in Colorado though, so there aren't a ton of positions to go around.

I just got an email that I was passed over for a research assistant position that I thought I would be perfect for. Guess not

You were pretty much spot on. This was the first time I really paid attention to a clearance/store closing sale. I was shocked at how much had been bought already. Nonetheless I got myself a couple games for under 30 bucks which is not bad.

Next time I spot a clearance/going out of business sale i'll have to go as soon as the store opens!

Here's an overhead shot of town...the lower end of Main Street is in the foreground and the fairground is in the background. The fair was supposed to start in 3 weeks, no way they have it now.

Beginning flood stage is 19' and the river crested today at 32.6' which is a new record.

Heard Maryland got hit hard with rain all week and one of the dealerships, which was right around the corner from where I used to live at was completely flooded.

Earthquakes, Hurricanes and Floods ALL in a 2 week span...sheesh.
