How does somene get banned from OS? I've seen some peoples usernames and under it it said Banned. How does that happen?

Bashing a game period is not constructive. Whining/complaining/acting like a middle schooler is not constructive. If you want to be constructive, say what is wrong with the game specifically. Any negativity that is not constructive will not be tolerated.
• Profanity
  Keep offensive language to a minimum. While we might let you get away with anything you might hear on network television (no, NOT cable) or radio, don't go overboard. Simply editing a few letters with an asterisk or other symbols isn't allowed, either. A simple rule to follow is: "when in doubt, leave it out." You don't have to use excessive profanity to get your point across, and it's usually better to avoid it altogether.
• Trolling
  Trolling is posting with the intent of creating a negative reaction from one or multiple posters. Essentially - don't post to draw attention to yourself, don't attack other posters, don't bash things just because you can, and don't try to be the poster that is the "cool kid". Be mature when posting.
• Spam
  Posting of senseless, mentally empty threads/posts is not tolerated. These include, but are not limited to, post padding (+1, "I agree" with not reasoning"), party posts, "drunk posting" (incoherent messages with the excuse that you were not in the right state of mind), chain letters, In Before Lock posts, or "thread bumping" (posting on your own thread in an effort to 'bump' it to the top of the page).
• The Search Function/Thread Creation
  We have a very thorough search function on our forums. If you are going to ask a question, search for the answer first. Once you have searched, you may post or create a new thread pertaining to your question. If you decide to create a thread, clearly state your question in your thread title. Threads simply titled "help!" (or anything similar, not informing other users of your problem) do not help at all. If you have a question, clearly stating it in your thread title will allow users who can answer your question to see it without entering the thread, and help users in the future who may be searching for a similar solution.
• Administrators/Moderators/Other Staff
  The staff on Operation Sports are here to help you enjoy sports gaming. We are here to make your time on these forums enjoyable, and to make it easy for you to find the information you need about all sports games. That being said, if one of us says something to you, take it. Your response is not necessary. If you have a problem, PM the staff member or admin. Any public argument with any of the staff will result in your immediate banning.
• Rumors/Hearsay/Agendas/"If you don't know the answer, shut up"
  If someone posts a question, and you don't know the answer, don't reply. Don't post some rumor you heard somewhere. If you don't know a fact, you don't post. Period. Any spreading of rumors/hearsay/agendas will be dealt with immediately.
• Drug/Political/Racial/Religious/Sexual Related Talk
  There are to be NO racial, political, religious, drug related or sexual talk or attacks at Operation Sports. We have a multitude of posters here, and not everyone shares the same views on life as you. To minimize issues between posters, none of these topics will be tolerated on the boards.
• VIP's
  You will notice we have many VIP's who post here, designated by their name in a purple color. Many of them are game developers or guests at Operation Sports. They are to be respected at all times. If you want to interact with our VIP's, you are to keep the discussion mature and in a professional manner. Any type of attack will not be tolerated.
• Avatar/Signature Rules
  Avatars have a limit of 100KB and there are no exceptions. Also, note that Avatars are subject to the same rules regarding adult content as any other image - they must be kept at a PG level, or will be removed. This rules includes scantily clad women/men and everything covered in this TOS. We do not allow any images in a user's signature.
• Copyrighted Material
  Operation Sports board users agree not to post any material that is protected by copyright, trademark or other proprietary right without the express permission of the owner(s) of said copyright, trademark or other proprietary right.<LI sizcache="0" sizset="84">Multiple Usernames
  At no point may one user hold or have access to more than one account at Operation Sports. If you wish to create a second username, or change your username, you must contact a staff member or e-mail the site administration at [email protected].

  We do not allow advertising of any kind at Operation Sports without prior approval from the staff. This applies only to the forums, and includes any self promotion, including off-site leagues. You may advertise your site/league in your blog or your arena. If you feel that there is a gaming story/site/league that needs to be linked at Operation Sports, please send the information to [email protected]. We have been linking content from other sites on our front page for over 10 years, and have no problem with it as long as the proper channels are followed.
  
• Selling/Trading Posts
  We do not allow posters to offer games or other products for sale or trade at Operation SportsYou may use your blog to post an eBay or other accredited auction site to do this type of action, although it will still be subject to the TOS and must abide by the other rules of the site.
• Adult Content
  Operation Sports is a PG site. We have many users under the age of 18, and many users that browse the site at their place of business. We do not tolerate any type of nudity or scantily clad women/men. This rule extends to your arena/blog/and avatar.
• Piracy/ROMs/Warez
  Operation Sports has a very strict policy against piracy, ROMs, warez, modding/chipping, and the illegal use of copyrighted material. Linking or giving information about any site that distributes illegal software, ROMs, media, mods/chips, or emulators, seeking help to circumvent any copyright laws, admitting to possessing and/or distributing illegal copyrighted material, or encouraging software or media piracy is grounds for ban depending on the offense. This goes for all copyrighted material, including but not limited to games, movies, music, and videos.
• Off-Site Subscription Material
  Any content that is part of a paid subscription service (IGN Insider, ESPN Insider, etc.) is not allowed to be posted on this site. You may post review scores, and a link to the content, but you may not quote from it in any way.
• Recruitment & League Guidelines
  
  Posting and recruiting for leagues on OS is fine if, AND ONLY IF, the league is run via the OS forums or Blog service hosted here on OS ("run" meaning the majority of the interaction between the players and the league, such as general league discussion, trades, scheduling, etc takes place here on OS). Any league threads created where users are prompted to visit another site or PM the thread creator or another league admin for "details" or "information" will be closed and/or deleted. Posting links to a game's official league website is not a problem (such as 2K's online league home pages).
  
  For popular games with several established leagues, OS provides additional sub-forums solely for those leagues and their members. To apply for a sub-forum PM the administrator, Millennium, with your league name, commissioner name, and your "credentials" (The last part meaning not everyone is going to get a forum. You must have a good history or a good number of reliable users to have your application approved).
  
  Operation Sports provides all users with an "Arena", an area for their own personal blogs, screenshots, and videos. These tools, combined with the forums and the ability to apply for your own forum, are more than enough to host and run a successful league here on OS.

Also note that the Board Rules extend to all areas of the Operation Sports Message Boards system, including but not limited to Private Messages, Chat Rooms, and e-mails to the staff. Operation Sports is not responsible for messages posted on the Operation Sports Boards or the content therein. Unless expressly stated otherwise, this includes messages posted by Operation Sports personnel, agents, representatives et al. Operation Sports reserves the right to reveal the identity of or whatever information we know about any user in the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any message posted by said user. Operation Sports has the right but not the obligation to monitor and/or moderate the Operation Sports Boards. Yeah, sounds like it. Weather is starting to change so they're looking for a place to hibernate. Probably an opening in the woodwork/brickwork surrounding the windo. Are you in a dorm or apartment? Tell the RA/RD/landlord or whoever about it and they can get someone to check it out.

A second one got in, this one even bigger than the first I killed. First was maybe an inch and a half long, this one's gotta be around two inches long. There's some outside the window that are even larger yet.

Not sure how they got through the screen though. The building I'm in is less than two years old (I'm part of the second group of students to live in this building). So it's not like the building is old with lots of ways to get in...

We've got the windows closed now, so hopefully if they're getting in through the window, it'll stop them from getting farther in the room.
