Best story ever.............That was so good, cool story bro isn't going to work, get this man an awesome story bro award.
One thing I like about it was the fact it was LONG and very DESCRIPTIVE. I honestly pictured everything in my head as though I was watching a movie.
At first it started off JJlin-ish and I was thinking come on Matrix have fell off, but the story just got better and better. Now on to some thoughts.
1. Yeah typically people who go to law school or grad school period, most if not all of them turn into douches. Don't know why, but they typically do, that has been my experience.
2. What is up with the strong desire to go to a gay bar your friend had ? I mean was he trying to hook up with the chick or what ?
3. Those females were wrong for wanting to go there when they knew it was your friend's birthday. I mean not like the gay bar was closing down, they could have went there anyday.
4. Your story is the main reason why I don't car pool. You end up going to crap you don't want to go to.
5. Can't believe your friend through you all under the bus in front of the tv actor.
6. What dude kicks another dude in the nuts ? That was a chick move, obviously your friend can't fight if that is the 1st move he does.
7. How long did you and the broken foot friend end up sitting outside waiting for them to come out ?Comment

Was it meaningless though, man? I think I acted pretty well given what happened. I didn't want to be there at all but given the circumstances I tried going into the place before the bouncer threw out some ridiculous nonsense like that. I wanted to tear the chick a new one (figuratively THEN literally) but didn't. I spoke to her calmly and rationally and tried to explain what happened. I could have also beaten the living **** out of the birthday boy, but didn't. I'm the one who walked off. Yelling at him is no big deal. Could have been much worse. They're my friends, I have to hold them to standards and I have to keep them honest.
1. Yeah I don't know man. Grad school changes people. I don't know if it's the pressure or what. This guy did some of the most ridiculous stuff to get into school, then to excel in the first year. Now for second year? He proudly admits that he doesn't give a damn anymore, does this and that. Just worthlessness. And he's an Armenian dude with a really backwards mentality that comes from his family. Dude thinks he's living in the 1500s or something.
2/3. I'm not sure what the desire was. His friends outside our group were there I guess. Obviously not very good friends because, as you mentioned, if they were good friends they would have canceled their oh-so-important plans and came out to the bar we were all going to. How ridiculous is it that he was willing to go to a gay bar just to, I GUESS, hit on a chick? And we kept telling him it was futile because there was another buddy my other friends had that was there in that group too, that had driven up from Orange County just to see said chick. So obviously, nothing was going to happen between birthday boy and her.
4. Yep. Drinking be damned, I dont think I'm ever gonna "not" be one of the drivers again. Don't have any desire to go through that crap one more time.
5. Pretty bitch move. That's what got me so upset in the first place. And it made me even more upset that I was the only one out of the entire group that criticized him to his face for it.
6. Definite bitch move. I mean, I'm not a fighter. I verbally destroy people but physically I don't fight. That was my first "scuffle" since God knows when. If he actually landed the kick at the intended target, ooooh.
7. Hm, I'm not sure exactly how long. A couple of the guy friends that were there already came out and chatted with the broken-footed friend, then the stuff in general happened. I figure everything altogether, probably 40-45 minutes? Poor guy sacrificed himself to be with me. Kept telling him to go inside and I'll find something/somewhere else and he said no. Like I said, after a while that was moot since the prick bouncer said no to him too.

Sounds like your friends were all being pretty big douches except for the foot guy. I think you have a right to be very upset after all that happened, but I do think you should not take everything so seriously. Were they all wrong and did you handle it pretty well?
