I'm terrible at StarCraft II...I suck at multi-tasking, so people have 10 units ready by the time I have 3
On that note, StarCraft > StarCraft IIComment

Re: Off Topic 2011
Okay, so this weekend completely flew by. You know its a good weekend when you have to come back to work on Monday just to rest! I didn't play catch up with OT, so I'm just going to assume that it went through its regular cycle the past couple of days, which means...
There is probably a Beantown teaser post somewhere that is in need of a story?
Ryan's new..."persona" is still humorous.
Food was brought up several hundred times.
Memes/gifs galore.
Ramped up halloween/horror jokes and Giggas-Harry Potter tie-ins.
cane's had about 100 unanswered posts.
JJ did something via poor-decision making and people jumped on him.
Anyway, Friday night I took some stuff over to my new place before going out to dinner and a movie with Tangible Sarcasm Girl. Now, it had completely slipped my mind that this weekend was parent's weekend for JMU. We tried going to a place downtown first and the wait was an hour and a half long. Ha, no. Luckily, I came up with a brilliant idea of eating 10 minutes outside the city where the wait was only 15 minutes as parents and students kept piling in after us.
Dinner was awesome. I had a whiskey bbq chicken sandwich and it was one of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever eaten. The BBQ sauce had a nice litte kick to it, but it wasn't overly spicy. Chicken was nice and tender. Tangible Sarcasm Girl hit me for a loop when she ordered ribs - a definite +5 points for that. She ordered the dry-rub and the meat was so damn tender that she was able to eat her ribs with a fork.
After dinner we saw 50/50, which was really good. The cast was amazing. JGL was great and Seth Rogen was surprisingly restrained and used very appropriately I thought, especially compared to his Apatow films. I think Anna Kendricks stole my heart, though Opie's daughter was looking good. Overall good movie that managed to balance comedy and drama amazingly well.
So yeah, Friday was great. Talking to Tangible Sarcasm Girl is so ridiculously easy and fun. She is goofy, but smart as hell so our dumb little jokes are insanely thought out. The banter we have reminds me of some the **** that goes on in here. She is awesome and that is scary to me because I don't wanna **** it up. It is really uncanny how she is managing to hit on so many of my buttons and in the right way. In the car she was reciting Roy Orbison's Crying (it was played during the movie and I made a remark about hearing her singing along) to me. Awesome girl.
Moving on to Saturday, I managed to pack up my car for 3-4 trips to the new place and take a lot of boxed up stuff and get things rolling. Comcast was scheduled to show up from 2-5, so of couse the guy shows up at like 4:15 and leaves about 10 minutes til 5. The crazy thing was, he was only in the apartment for like 5 minutes total as he was outside at his truck the rest of the time.
And Sunday was the big move. I got to drive a Uhaul truck, so I felt like a little kid. Of course loading and unloading and packing and unpacking made for a tiring, long day, but it is awesome. Now I get to look forward to unpacking all my damn **** and trying to figure out where the hell to put everything. Sunday night was ****, though. The Walking Dead came back and it was pretty good aside from some of the dramatic interactions. Also had a nice little texting conversation with Tangible Sarcasm Girl, which, I **** you not, was mostly about Super Stealthy Ninjas and which one of us was a real one. As it turns out, she pretty much schooled me in the end of that conversation, but it was pretty awesome regardless.Last edited by Fresh Tendrils; 10-17-2011, 12:45 PM.

Watson, did you really use "bee tee dubs" in that story in place of "by the way"?
Related question. Are you the girl from the story?Comment

Re: Off Topic 2011
WOWSER It get that bad down in Louisana that they have to lock their bathroom doors ?
The McDonald's restaurant on South Claiborne Avenue in New Orleans is utilizing a token system for customers who need to use the latrine.
Employees said they pride themselves on providing a clean and safe environment, and the fast-food restaurant had to take measures to keep it that way.
The bathroom door now has a token meter for which customers will have to request to use the facilities. The token is free upon request.
The sign next to the meter reads, "Vandalism Is Costly -- To help with these costs and continue providing restrooms, this security lock has been installed. Your cooperation is appreciated."
