Want less dry skin after showering? It's called hydrating soap or body wash, and lotion.

At least I'm getting an opportunity to find out who the nasty members are... lol.

Well...
Day 8 i think, might be 9.

Anyway, my gf told me my hair really smelt bad tonight.
Hopefully it was because of work...
Tomorrow after I shower Im gonna ask someone in my family to smell it immediately, if it smells, I have to abort seeing as how I work for tips as a waiter and dont need no un necessary smell coming from me.

We shall see

Alright, here's my impressions after 2.5 months...

-Well, I don't really smell bad imo. I'm usually conscious of my BO and I still wear deodorant but with no soap, I don't feel like I smell any worse whether I've been playing basketball or working out or whatever.

-Actually, I had a girl who was half sitting on top of my last weekend and said I smelled good when I wasn't wearing anything but my regular deodorant. And oddly enough, I've had more girls around/on me in the last couple months than I had before I started this experiment, whether they're hugging/kissing on me or w/e. If I smelled real funky I don't think it would be as regular as it is now.

-I did get a couple pimples during the first few weeks but since then haven't had any problems really.

-I don't get dry skin anymore, or if I do it's pretty rare. Usually I get ashy when it's cold outside and use lotion, but I haven't had a reason to. I do have a couple dry spots on my face sometimes if I shave too close or right after I rinse my face and I'll usually use a dab of lotion then.

-HOWEVER, my biggest issue was/is dandruff. It was really bad for the first couple weeks like I expected, but I was struggling before the experiment. My scalp gets REALLY dry so when I brush my hair, it's just flakes on flakes. I thought it may just be part of the adjustment but after 2 months I gave up on that part. I'm now using some Selsum Blue shampoo trying to remedy it. I think the next step is some type of oil that I was reading about online. I do not think this is a biproduct of not using shampoo but more of a condition that seems fairly popular amongst other folks from my googling experience.

-I also don't put anything in my hair either. I used to use a pomade and pink lotion to help sustain my waves but I gave that up. I'm able to still keep them as long as I brush often.

Anybody else have any impressions?

Bro how often do you workout and sweat a lot?

Just wondering, because even with rinsing off with water, after a few hours of playing ball for me, I'm not just gonna wanna rinse off... my mind is gonna tell me I need to use soap.

Do you run/sweat/workout often?

BTW I have a buzzed head too, and I still use shampoo and conditioner. LOL. I don't know why, but I just do.

Yea I usually lift a couple times a week and play basketball 2-3 times a week. I sweat a good bit too. Walking across campus when its ~70 degrees will make me sweat, so I'm usually drenched after playing basketball.

That is a very good question....

Oh yeah for severe dandruff, you should use T-gel.



It has coal tar in it. Don't smell the greatest but it works wonders.
