She claims its because noone helped. There needs to be fines for people who file ridiculous law suits. You can file all you want, but if you lose, you are fined $5,000.

GTFOHWTBS. First of all, she didn't seem to bbe hurt. Secondly, she got out of that fountain pretty quickly. Wasn't like she was passed out under water about to drown. If she would have just shutup and left it alone, we all would have watched this, got a little chuckle and went on our way. This whole "lawsuit" is doing nothing but drawing attention to herself and furthering her embarrassment.

Now I'm off to show the rest of my friends and family so we can make fun of her for the reaminder of the week.

That's stupid, I heard this women on the radio today complaining about this and it made me nuts.

First, she says that no one came to her aid, well if you watch the video, as soon as she falls into the drink, she quickly gets up and walks away, it's not like she stood there waiting for someone to "help" her. And besides even if someone did come up to her to help her, WTF are they going to do? Hand her a towel and tell her to move along?

Second, she complained about how the security guards laughed at her, oh boo hoo. Any person seeing that happen live, is going to laugh. Why? Because it's damn funny! This woman needs to admit she did something stupid, take the embarassment and subsequent internet notoriety and get on with her life.

I hope this woman gets laughed out of court and has to pay all the court costs for bringing such a frivilous (sp?) lawsuit.

That was funny. It's sad how often we see this in public though. It's especially prevalent at college, where people will be texting and walking and end up walking right into the road without checking to see if there's a car coming. Is the text they're sending THAT important that it can't wait until they're sitting down to send it? People are stupid.

I just don't get how you are not aware of your surroundings. I mean, I walk around and text all the time, especially with all the walking I do at college. But I know exactly what my surroundings are, always. I'm not running into the million other people walking past me, or the bike racks or whatever. I just don't get it.

I don't really know what people want her to do anyway. She fell, she got out. The mall is being sued for what... civilianary bystanderism? I'm not so sure I follow what she's complaining about.

Not nearly as dumb as what the texter did, but the question "Was there water in there today?" made me laugh pretty hard given the very obvious very visible splash seen in the first angle.
