I drive a Optima and around summer time to fill up from around E varied from $40-$45 and that was every 4 days cause I worked a hr away. Yesterday I filled up......$24!!!!!!!! Down to $2.02 here in South Jersey.

$1.97 in Birmingham.

I would have loved this when I was driving an hour to and from work every day.

Especially when my SS went down and I went back to driving a full sized truck for 6 mo.

Damn 5.67 the highest I have ever seen hear is like 4.70-4.8 and that was years and years ago at that point I thought I would never see below 4 again and thought it would get up to 5. Now it is like 2.6.

I filled up for 1.64 over the weekend, now its back up in the 2.10 range. 40-50 cent jump with no real explanation.

Live in Northern NJ.

Saw gas drop below $2 for the first time in like 10 years over here.

Crazy. I used to drop $60 to fill up, that's been cut in half. Last fill up cost $32.

Gonna be 1.78 (somewhat rural Missouri) when I get my tank filled after work tonight. If I wait any longer I'm gonna be pushing my car to the pump.

I used to be the same way. But I figured with having to stop more often that my savings weren't all that great. Now I know after each tank that it will be 5 cents cheaper than the last.
