Heh so i was bored trying to find something to watch on netflix and wow so many memories. Found old shows like Hey Arnold, Rocko's Modern Life, Aah! Real Monsters, Rugrats, Fairly Oddparents, etc. Watched a few of each, pretty much any cartoon up until '04 was really good.

I seriously couldn't help but think of when I first saw these certain episodes I was watching, where I was living, what I was doing, year, etc. What I wouldn't do to go back to those years.

                          Watched?

I still watch an episode basically every morning while I'm getting ready for work. There's 4 every morning on TBS.

I'm confident I've seen every episode at least 10 times.

                            Re: The Nostalgia Thread

I was a bit of a news nerd as a kid so here's nostalgia that is personal to myself:

I used to LOVE watching the Buffalo network affiliates for some reason. I think it's because their news anchors and such had a lot more personality than the ones in Toronto.

                            WGRZ (NBC)

Rich Kellman (this guy was like the Voice of God to me as a kid)

Ed Kilgore (he's actually still working to this day though at a much lower profile. I used to love when NBC had the rights to the AFC as WGRZ had the best local coverage of the Bills)

Barry Lillis (the very definition of the folksy weatherman. He's now actually a priest!)

                            WIVB (CBS)

Bob Koop (This guy was smooth and had one of the best demeanors of anchor i've seen. He was pretty well regarded in the industry unfortunately Leukemia took his life in '95)

                            <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/64bbhc9BSbY" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

                            (skip ahead to :38 mark)

Carol Jasen (she was a very pretty lady back in her prime but also a damn fine anchor as well)

Don Postles and Jacquie Walker (They've been working as a team for as long as I can remember. Very good chemistry and quite professional. As you can see they're still working to this day)

                            Van Miller (...nuff said!)

Don Paul (pretty good weather man)

Oh and did you know Pam Oliver got her start in Buffalo news?

                            WKBW (ABC)

Don't worry almost done, only 2 folks to profile here.

Irv Weinstein (this guy was like the dean of Buffalo news for years and years and years. One of the most congenial men you'll ever find on TV)

Tom Jolls (another great old timer as he was the weatherman at that station. He also hosted a really keen kids show as well being billed as Commander Tom)

Well now you know all you care to about Buffalo news from the '80s to now in some cases LOL

After reading this thread, it's definitely one of the best on OS, IMO.

I'll just list mine without pics.

90's nicktoons - Rocko's Modern Life, Rugrats, Hey Arnold, Doug, Catdog.

Nintendo 64. That system defined my childhood. I remember playing Ocarina of Time for the first time, that game is what really got me into gaming, like hardcore. I played the crap out of that game and I STILL do to this day.
Playing the Pokemon Red/Blue versions on Gameboy for hours on end and getting that stupid connector thing so I could trade with my friends.

                                Nebraska football in the mid-90's.

Running around with a cassette tape recorder making my own "radio shows."
