Re: The Nostalgia Thread
To be fair, there aren't many choices when trying to form a Canadian super couple. I guess she could have gone after one of the members of Barenaked Ladies or Bryan Adams...Originally posted by Jdurg

Re: The Nostalgia Thread
I've said this before and i'll say it again. Perfect Strangers was the modern Laurel and Hardy. The dynamic between Bronson Pinchot and Mark-Linn Baker was second to none. There were nights where I was literally rolling around laughing so hard that i'd cry when watching that show.Remember when ABC had TGIF Thank Goodness Its Funny block of shows on Friday nights?
Perfect Strangers, Full House, Family Matters, Step By Step was on it. I just remember those Friday nights because my Mom made Fridays, Fried Chicken day and it always topped off Friday after a long week of school.
Then Boy meets world and Hangin' with Mr Cooper came after that too.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: The Nostalgia Thread
When you think about it its amazing how much TV has changed since then. I remember watching TGIF with my mother and little brother every week. Does that kind of thing even happen anymore?I've said this before and i'll say it again. Perfect Strangers was the modern Laurel and Hardy. Re: The Nostalgia Thread
There's still televisions owned by families that play television shows so I'd assume it still does...Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

Re: The Nostalgia Thread
No I was getting at the fact that networks don't provide lineups like that gears toward families. I would hope some families still get together and watch TV at times lol.Comment

One of my favs of all time. What was great mostly about it is that my mom loved the show. She's an immigrant from the Philippines so she related to Balki a lot because of she was try to understand American Culture. Plus who wouldn't laugh during an action sequences.I've said this before and i'll say it again. Perfect Strangers was the modern Laurel and Hardy. And yes total agree they were the modern Laurel and Hardy. Where has action comedy have gone? That type of comedy is universal and can speak to almost any culture.Comment
