To be fair, there aren't many choices when trying to form a Canadian super couple. I guess she could have gone after one of the members of Barenaked Ladies or Bryan Adams...

I've said this before and i'll say it again. Perfect Strangers was the modern Laurel and Hardy. The dynamic between Bronson Pinchot and Mark-Linn Baker was second to none. There were nights where I was literally rolling around laughing so hard that i'd cry when watching that show.

Speaking of TGIF, I'll admit to watching this. I was young. Very young.

When you think about it its amazing how much TV has changed since then. I remember watching TGIF with my mother and little brother every week. Does that kind of thing even happen anymore?

There's still televisions owned by families that play television shows so I'd assume it still does...

That specifically, I don't know. I thought you were implying that families don't get together and watch TV anymore because "TV has changed since then".

No I was getting at the fact that networks don't provide lineups like that gears toward families. I would hope some families still get together and watch TV at times lol.

This and The Fresh Prince of Bel Air were two of my favorite shows growing up.

Remember when he made the Golden State Warriors team? First game he got dunked on by Charles Barkley. Then Sir Charles threw the ball at him. "Welcome to the NBA!"

Agreed. Balki and Larry were perfect.

One of my favs of all time. What was great mostly about it is that my mom loved the show. She's an immigrant from the Philippines so she related to Balki a lot because of she was try to understand American Culture. Plus who wouldn't laugh during an action sequences.

And yes total agree they were the modern Laurel and Hardy. Where has action comedy have gone? That type of comedy is universal and can speak to almost any culture.
