I forgot how crazy the cast for that was.
You have a young Rob Lowe, Tom Cruise, Patrick Swayze, Emilio Estevez, and Matt Dillon. Plus throw in Ralph Macchio, who didn't have as big a career as the rest, but still was pretty big there in the 80's. There's a LOT of future box office dollars in this picture.Comment

The Outsiders....Loved that movie so did my friends. Unfortunately after watching it we of course had to try to set up a rumble with kids from the other neighborhood. In true fashion we showed up with no sleeves on our shirts and our hair slicked back. Unfortunately one of the guys on the other side showed up with a monkey wrench and then one of our guys pulled out a straight razor that he stole from his grandpas shaving kit. It ended in a screaming match and then some parents got involved and the cops came and lectured us. Both sides declared victory and the great 7th grade rumble came to pass.

Not sure if anyone has posted about these yet... But in early elementary school, I'd take the two or three bucks that my dad would give me for lunch money and go down to the gas station and buy these things for .05 cents a piece. I'd take them to school and sell them for .25 cents a piece or so.
I was definitely an entrepreneur... I think I made enough money one year to buy a new Wilson A2000 glove because of these things.Comment
