Re: The Nostalgia Thread
I actually still have most of my Tiger handheld games. Not sure where they are, but I have them. I have quite a few. Baseball, Darkwing Duck, Batman, Batman Forever, Home Alone 2, Goosebumps, and my sister had Beauty and the Beast and The Little Mermaid.
Good times with those games.

I think I threw Bo Football/Baseball out not long ago b/c it wasn't working right. Should have kept it anyway.Comment

Re: The Nostalgia Thread
I don't know why the memory of this toy of which I can't remember the name just randomly popped into my head last night while I was laying in bed. They were these dome-shaped pieces of rubber of various sizes that you'd flip inside out and put on the floor (or any surface really) then they'd flip themselves right-side out and jump into the air. They were around probably early to mid 90's. Anyone else remember these? I didn't feel like looking through this entire thread to see if they'd already been mentioned.Steelers : IX, X, XIII, XIV, XL, XLIII

That show used to be one of big ways to find out stuff you didn't know about regarding video games. In the days where online FAQs/walkthroughs/cheats and all that weren't real popular yet.Comment

Re: The Nostalgia Thread
You probably could, though I usually spent my quarters on the miniature football helmets and baseball caps. Still have a bunch of the baseball ones in a box somewhere, but all the football helmets were broken long ago from playing with them.

Re: The Nostalgia Thread
Lately whenever I go through an antique mall I'll see toys I was familiar with and had as a child. Its a bit unsettling in a way, but its such a rush you forget you're a grown-*** adult as you ogle over action figures and trading cards.
On the trading cards front its awesome to see cards from back in the day for literally everything you can imagine. TV shows, movies, sports, cartoons, etc. We used to have the Batman trading cards and Power Rangers. I've found a place that has unopened packs. Back when they made the wrappers out of wax paper. Very tempting to open those babies up.
I lost all my TMNT toys thanks to a community yard sale. There's a local place that has the gigantic sewer/street top playset and all the action figures. What's funny is the new playset in stores today is the exact same mold as the old one. They also have a bunch of Star Wars figures and the forest playset from RotJ. I had to do a double take because we had the same damn playset except it was used for Kevin Costner's Robin Hood. It blew my mind.

Re: The Nostalgia Thread
Was so glad when I found mine in the attic. Then sad when it didn't work.
Growing up I had: Football, Baseball, Ninja Gaiden, Double Dragon, TMNT, Pinball, Hang On, Car Racing (forget the name of it).Last edited by GAMEC0CK2002; 11-21-2014, 08:42 PM.Comment

Re: The Nostalgia Thread
This thread reminds me about the time my mom gave away my diecast metal Voltron. Still bitter about it today.
