    Re: The Nostalgia Thread

Speaking of movies, there aren't too many of these left:

The first movie I ever watched at any theater was at a Drive-In - Gremlins (1984)
    My 2K17 Boston Celtics MyLeague

    Alabama Crimson Tide
    Green Bay Packers
    Boston Celtics

    New Orleans Pelicans

I remember having to do that on a number of occasions.

        (lol yes,bumping a 2 year old thread)

I always get nostalgic about things. As much as I look forward to certain things in the future, I like looking back in past. Photo albums especially are the ultimate "nostalgic trigger".

Randomly decided to check out a place(on Google maps. Someone posted one of those 360 photos) I used to play baseball when I was younger, and that park hasn't changed one bit. So many great memories for so many years there. One day if I can ever manage to drag people there, I wanna go there and get a game going for old times sake lol.

one of my earliest memories goes back to when I was 2-3 years old. I really can remember playing with weeble wobbles back in '72-'73. Funny thing is broke my arm around then but I have absolutely no recollection of that.
some of my favorite things from my childhood: sixmillion dollar man action figure, (I still remember the six million dollar watermelon skit from Captain and Tenille) lincoln logs, I had a little record player and Dolly Partons Coat of Many Colors on vinly, played that about a thousand times, I had a pretty short attention span before I turned 10 and I enjoyed commercials more than most tv shows. some of my favorites were Calgons commercial with "ancient chinese secret", Wisk and ''ring around the collar!'', scrubbing bubbles, I could go on all day about commercials but I will spare you lol.

I had the unfortunate task of cleaning out my parents basement and moved them to a retirement home. I found my Weebles Wild West set with the Weeble Horse that doubled as a shot put.

Also found my Evel Knievel motorcycle and 2 riders and wind up charger. A bunch of Original Star Wars characters and my Favorite toy of all time....Marx Navarone Mountain.

I sold the Weebles but everything else I kept. Alot of good memories in those toys.

How many of you that watched wrestling in the late 80s/early 90s remember getting these from the ice cream trucks when they came down your street?

                          Re: The Nostalgia Thread

Came across an image of this:

Talk about feeling nostalgic. Funny enough, I wasn't a longtime Pokemon fan(I watched the first season of the show, and abit of s2, but that was really it. Despite that, I played so many of the games and had those cards too), and most of my classic Pokemon stuff got sold in a garage sale by mistake(I'm still mad about that lol, not that I had any use for them, but would've been nice heirloom). But seeing an image like the one above always makes me nostalgic.

I never owned blue, I only had red, but one of my friends had blue and a link cable(who remembers those?). I never cared about filling out the entire pokedex, but they did so I helped them get the Red exclusive ones.

And I just looked it up and realized that the game came out in North America 20 years ago(September 1998!)

I was born in 86 so I basically grew up in the 90's. I absolutely loved Nickolodean back in the day. Especially Nick at Night. All That, Keenan and Kel, Goosebumps, and some of the other creepy shows they would have on. I believe they even aired The Munsters. Those were the days....
