Oh man, I loved that game. I remember my whole family left me to go watch Titanic and I played that game for hours.

I made the right decision.

The 3D NFL Gameday games on the PSX were awesome.

I still remember, while playing Gameday 98 as a kid, bawling when, while playing against a friend, an unsuccessful goalline dive resulted in Emmitt Smith leaving the game with a broken neck. I was heartbroken, haha.

Did it make that gruesome bone-snapping sound like one of the early Madden's did? I wonder if someone could dig up a video or something that plays that sound.

My mother was pretty strict on what cereals we could have, but your post reminded me of getting surprises in the cereal. We used to stick our arms in there to our elbows..lol
